How would he do in the Marvel universe?
How would he do in the Marvel universe?
Gets shit on by the citizens for his patronizing views on humanity and ends up drinking himself to death because he's no longer the center of the universe
Also Namor fucks Lois
Idk Clark’s pretty big and he’s a great writer but he’s just a human so I’d guess a building would fall on him and he’d die
as Hyperior taught us...not really well.
Superman doesn't even like to be thought as the centre of the universe, he would just respect them and leave them alone
Dies to Hulk
He does okay.
Pretty good actually. One of the few capes that isn't a self seving asshole. Would be beloved by the public, but be branded a mutie lover after a few years.
Thor would respecting him a shitload and go on adventures with him.
Hulk would probably see him as one of the few actual friends he has.
Be at odds with Namor and T'challa over how selfish they are. But at least they are not Dr Doom. I like to think Namor would find him terrifying and antagonizes him constantly over how afraid he actually is of him.
Tony Stark would hate his guts for being a no fun guy. But still accepts that he is Earth's best defender.
The Xmen would probably dislike the fact that he wants to get involved in Mutant afairs. But in time would embrace his aid. It is more than likely he helped with the Phoenix and fought Gladiator a couple of times. Scott would distrust him, Wolverine would ignore him and consider him an idiotic goody two shoes boyscouts... but deep down, knows he is one of the best damn heroes out there and has mad respect for him.
Sentry doesn't like him.
According to John Byrne Superman is the kryptonian equivalent of an earth's mutant
>Sentry doesn't like him.
Sentry has the power of a million exploding suns. Superman is empowered by the Sun. They would probably get on quite well, though Superman would exacerbate Bob's mental issues by being inadvertantly intimidating.
Peter Parker would work with him at the buggle. Clark considers him his best friend.
Since no Lois, I guess he either goes for Carol Danvers, Storm or... Sally Floyd.
He hates Galactus after finding out that he is the reason why Krypton died.
Hasn't found a single alien species that likes Kryptonians. All of them, including the Kree and the Skrulls, hate him and his extinct arrogant war mongering species.
Super Skrull wants to have his dna.
Explains why he beats kryptonians all the time without a sweat
New scenario:
He gets dropped into the Marvel Universe
How well would he do?
Golfs with Doom
one-off Iron Man villain who everyone ignores after first appearance because hes just a Stane knock-off
Doesn't shine that much. Marvel's super geniouses are smarter than DC's.
Still, occassional villain for Iron Man and the Xmen.
JJJ hired Clark and loved him, thought he was the best reporter the Bugle ever had
Gets over his Ego with Superman since he isn’t there in the Marvel Universe, can use his intelligence without that stupid plot device of not being able to see someone wearing glasses, and actually becomes a threatening villain for once. I would see Lex rising up the “hierarchy of Super-geniuses” or so to speak, considering he’s a new guy who just appeared out of nowhere with a intellect that can just allow him to do anything because he was made to fight a god who could do anything with plot (Super-man)
He would probably be better off than the other Super-geniuses because he has knowledge of the DC universe and it’s secrets and could probably exploit that in different ways, like how to use fifth dimensional energies or whatever that are beyond the Multiverse.
In the end, I would see him threatening the order of the established “Smart people” in the Marvel Universe. His plot device mind without that ego barrier of Superman would actually have some use for once and would be much more dangerous than ever before, probably getting rid of all the super-geniuses in spectacular fashion by exploiting their weaknesses, while when in that world he would have none because he sees all the heroes as being selfish and not the ideal people aspire to like Superman. In the end, I would see him probably being the new smartest person in the Marvel Universe, especially considering when he was in the DC universe he could do bullshit that is on higher levels than what Marvel Super-geniuses could do when he really wanted (Like for example, he could trick Brainiac 13 and outsmarted him, had a debate with Death of the endless herself, ect.)
Lex Luthor really knows no bounds without his ego block that prevents him from just doing whatever he wants. He takes the #1 spot on the Intelligence hierarchy in the Marvel Universe, surpassing that black girl or whatever (and reed, and everyone below him.)
I would be surprised if found a way to gain omnipotence without his ego.
Source?
>Thor can't beat Superm-
Wouldn’t be surprised*
I mean, Lex literally found omnipotence in the DC universe but lost it because of that same ego block with Superman. Lex without Superman in the Marvel Universe would be a destabilizing new element that would tip off the balance of the Marvel mad scientists or super geniuses and whatever, and would quickly raise to the top, second to none, because of his plot device mind that allows him to do whatever he wants on another level passing any other super genius. Be honest, even reed has his limits, and when Lex Luthor really applies himself without his ego he can do anything without limits cause of his bullshit power of trying to be a human yet fighting against the center of the Metaverse.
Superman vol 2 by John Byrne
He would probably end up sacrificing himself to save it
Clark is a nice guy. Keeps getting hit on by She-Hulk for sure.
But seriously? It goes two ways depending which version you’re talking about
Kal-El of Earth One? Would work with The Fantastic Four, probably become one of the honorary members like Spider-Man. He’d be friends with Bruce Banner as Clark, and try to pacify Hulk. He’d be considered a mutie lover and Doom would look down on him. He’d humor Hercules and Thor alike in their attempts to arm-wreastle and be considered a leader like Captain America. True paragon, but not the center of the universe. Spider-Man and Cap are that for Marvel. Superman is just a good friend.
Kal-L of Earth 2? Kicked Namor’s ass and the submariner has been salty since. Inhumans don’t like his cocky attitude. Doom absolutely hates him and Clark fucks with him just like he fucked with Luthor. Would call him annoying too. Works out in his Secret Citadel by New York, and replaced JJ Jameson out of the Daily Bugle to become Senior Editor as Clark Kent. Skulls hate him. Shi’ar want to be him. And Thanos is afraid to come back to Earth after last time.
Clark Kent? I mean he would just be another civilian. Maybe he works for the daily bugle?
>Maybe he works for the daily bugle?
That's in New York.
Kent is from Kansas
Kent moved to Metropolis man
Honestly I think Superman being there would be the moral rock that would help the rest of the Avengers get their shit together.
A lot of other heroes would try to use him as an arguing point for their shitty lifestyles but a handful would actually get along pretty well. I can see him working with the Fantastic Four, he's basically Silver Surfer with midwest ideals.
Thunderbolt Ross now hunts Superman during his off days when he is not hunting Hulk.
JJJ runs a smear campaign against Superman and asks Clark Kent to write the hit piece.
Gets mindraped by Cassandra Nova into attacking Genasho and massacring the mutants.
Superman at one point was a member of the Fantastic Four with Nighthawk, Namora, and Spitfire.
Got his own Clone Saga event that gave birth to Superman Slayer aka Doomsday, Bizarro, Kon-El, Cir-El, Cyborg-Superman and Eradicator.
Hyperion is Superman’s cousin.
