What the fuck is a valiant?
it was a pretty solid movie.
specialy when vin was actualy behaving like the character in the 2nd half. and not just another Dominic Toretto clone he does in the first half of the movie.
How does it compare to the comics?
They changed/OC'd a lot, yet at the same time it is rather accurate to the comics.
It's barely anything like the comics aside from Rising Spirit basically created Bloodshot as a black-ops Military experiment
Would it have done better if it wasn't released mere days before the entire country shut down? Or was it doomed either way?
It's still weird to me that at one point Valiant was outselling a lot of Marvel and DC titles.
Maybe back in the 90's, but the 2012 reboot version has barely made any kind of dent in the market
>Maybe back in the 90's
That's the "at one point" I was talking about.
Good.
At least they didnt force any worldbuilding or sequel-bait like The Mummy.
It works pretty well as a stand-alone movie.
Vin Disel is kind of overrated.
I'm guessing the worldbuilding that is there is just a bunch of namedropping of the Harbinger Foundation and Toyo Harada?
It was better than Wonder Woman. Or Suicide Squad. Or JUSTice League. Or Birds of Fantabulous.
he is kind of a big nerd.
still i find it weird that he had to invest his own money and even nearly sell his own house to fund the 3rd Riddick movie.
yet he makes millions with those shitty fast and furious movies
If you are forced to invest your own movie and sell your own house just to fund a movie, that's a clear sign your idea for a movie is trash.

Sometimes your vision and the studios doesn't line up.
Deadpool only became reality because the SFX were done for free by a pal.
I'll bet later you'll bitch about Big Studio churning out cookie-cutter films, too.
Dolt.
Still the Riddick movies are far better then the trash that is the fast and furious franchise.
hell even that Triple X sequel movie was simply a half assed f & f movie
Valiant?
90's comic company that became super hip with some strong titles. I sold my collection of them at the top of the market. Good times.
It was never going to be a universe because Sony only has the rights to Bloodshot
No it wasn't bitch I fuck your mom fucking fucker fuckstain bitch fucker.
>Anything affiliated with Valiant
>Succeeding
What characters from the comics were in the movie other than the MC?
Yas Forums has trouble getting things like that. Like if you're not autisitically dead specific they're gonna get specific for you, not realize it unless you point it out and then sperg about it.
I guess you could say the boss and the wife were. Project Rising Spirit had to have some boss at the top and in the original Valiant Comics era Bloodshot did have a significant other before, well, Bloodshot. While in the Valiant Entertainment era, he is brainwashed to believe he has one.
Best part of the movie.
They might still keep it up, it beat BOP in VOD and everyone blames its flop on Corona, seeing as Onward got brutalized but also did okay on VOD, they have reasons to believe it.
>it beat BOP in VOD
Jesus, that movie keeps dissapointing even in death.
Are any of their stuff worth reading? I have Britannia 1&2 and Divinity 1-3 but I haven't read them yet, and I'm mostly ignorant of the rest of their works
