Yes, Yas Forums just hates actually intelligent media and would rather watch the same boring trash and jerk off to pictures of little cartoon girls and shit.

Yes, but for whatever reason episode one is terrible. Start at episode 4, if you like that then keep watching.

It's absolutely decent

i'm on episode 3 and it's blowing my mind i'm seriously thinking about getting into magic and doing more reading on all this spiritual stuff now.

also this

Yas Forums hates it because it's to intelligent for them to understand, it appeals more to /lit/ if /lit/ was into cartoons.

adding onto myself: it's also like the evangelion of Yas Forums.

It's psuedointellectual trash to make normies feel smart even though they ramble on about pure nonsense the entire episode

>Rape and kill a child
>Get released from death row because being part of a satanic cult gets you perks especially now with the John Podesta and Hillary sex cult shit is surfacing
>"Yeah bro I'm magic. I can pretty much summon parking spaces when I want"
Lmao imagine eating this shit up. People like this will say all kinds of shit to prey on retards like you.

Wiki related, Damien is the fish guy from part 3

It's like a butt plug for the asshole of the mind

It's comfy

kinda bothers me how the host never once challenges or disagrees w anything the guests say. i'm all for discussions like this but there's not really any back and forth , feels like everyone who is interviewed has already made their mind up about how the world works and doesn't consider other perspectives or want to change their minds.

I enjoyed it. It's kind of pretentious, but it was still fun and cozy to watch. At least it got Pendleton Ward back into the animation game!

Post Trudy and no one gets forgiven.

That bothered me too. Duncan/Clancy just fellates the egos of his guests and never questions anything they say.

episode 3 and first part of 4 have basically made me drop it, I have a really hard time listening to people talk about how shitty things happen to people because they don't believe in themselves hard enough and shit

does it get any better? I really liked episode 1 and 2 was pretty relaxing

Prince Jam Roll from episode 4 looks like a character from King Star King

Interviewers aren't necessarily meant to debate their guest. The guest is the one that's there to talk about what they're there to talk about. The job of the interviewer is to ask leading questions so they can explain their subject better.

It's a bummer. It's just a bunch of random interviews and you have to be high to enjoy them. A show with such unique animations and a kino sounding name like "The Midnight Gospel" could have become a new Over The Garden Wall had they taken another direction with the show.

Could you imagine if it had a conventional plotline with this animation?

first three episodes where 2/10, last two episodes where 9/10, everything in between was meh 6/10.
I think I would prefer if theye concentrated more on the 'real' world stuff and less on the depressed faggot and his baby first eastern spiritually tedx talks.

If you enjoy the hallucinogenic aspect of AT, you'll love this. It's basically DUDE WEED done right. Now I want Penn to team up with Johnny Ryan

cool

I didnt like it until episode 2 or 3,
episode 5 is the best

What message was each guest trying to convey?

It does

that makes sense, but i feel like you could ask leading questions while being skeptical about what the guest is talking about. it might get them to express their ideas more clearly/ in more concrete terms

No, interviews for 90% of the show isn't a conventional plotline. It's boring and could have been a literal podcast.

I like the show but I actually agree with this

there's more to plot than what the characters say to each other.

his crimes are not right, but doesn't mean that what he stumbled onto wasn't right.

you can't just dismiss all of Christianity if someone for example kills another person then turns to christianity in their last moments.

if he knew what he knows now things would have been different and i doubt he would have raped that child as he now knows what happens after death.

>Recommends the worst episode of all.

surprisingly

The fucking whale says her mother had brain cancer. What the fuck is this shit?

>Posts the article.
>Didn't read it to understand Damien and his friends weren't assassins, just a bunch of generation x kids.

It is a literal podcast called duncan trussell family hour they got most of the content from there then sticked animation over it

Oh okay, that makes more sense.

The trouble is, if you start debating any of these ideas, the discussion on any one point alone could go on for hours and still wind up absolutely nowhere. There aren't definitive answers to any of these things.

I like the format. It's just someone presenting their take on life. You don't have to agree with all or even any of it, it's just something to think about.

That's one of the interesting parts. If Clancy fights his guests, they will be angry and there will be no interview, that's to say, there will be no money for paying his sister.

What Clancy does is very common when you have to be politically correct. But, because of that, Clancy, sometimes, connects with important stuff of what their guests are saying.

(I know the podcasts were already recorded, but I believe that's the same approach thay Duncan does to his guests)

I fuckin' hated that character. What does that say about myself?

Yas Forums is literally too retarded for this show

5 > 3 > 8 > 6 > 1 > 2 > 7 > 4

>Rape murder child
>"Its okay bro because now hes enlightneded and talks about doing magic"
Absolute drivel. Seek help elsewhere, not from a child murder who can control the parking situations with his mind.

Yas Forums didn't like it?

1 was my favorite

lol cope

I agree the magic one was dumb. I skipped it halfway through cus I couldn't stand the guy talking

I have never seen such a waste of good animations. A fucking podcast?
