Should they have done it?

It was too late for the mask but the could have has him in the outfit at some point

no

Needs a chin strap and white eyes

I really don't think the mask would ever look good in live action

They should have had him wearing it as his "futuristic outfit" at the beginning of Days of Future Past as a nice little inclusion.

That's what I thought about the Aquaman costume

>ridiculous healing factor
>unbreakable skeleton
>tacticool armor
Nah, at most make it a yellow jumper with sleeves ripped off.

Jacket*...
Fuck

His DOFP costume was pretty close, but we never got to see him actually fight in it.

That's retarded Aquaman's suit is basically two-toned armor. Wolverine has a mask in the same shape of his hair, in non-tactical colors

That actually looks pretty good.

Too tall
Tom cruise is short enough for it but he's too old now

isn't it the batman cowl with bigger ears?

Kino

This design of the costume seems taken from a bear gay porn, so no.

A different shape but also movies typically establish him as too cool for school so it makes no sense for him to be in a costume whereas in comics he showed up in one.
We're really at a point where most costumes can probably be done decently, it's just normalfags dont really want them.

as someone who hates FOX-Men, this looks based

The window for it closed pretty much after Last Stand. By that point we'd all got used to him being maskless, and it would've probably just felt strange.

Still, the fact that they didn't do it means that the next version can have it to really differentiate himself to the audience. And it will all be worth it so long as the following exchange occurs.

Logan: "Bit on the colorful side ain't we?"

Scott: "Would you be more comfortable in black leather?"

*Audience applause*

>Logan: "Bit on the colorful side ain't we?"
>Scott: "Would you be more comfortable in black leather?"
>*Audience applause*
Yes please

You’ll really appreciate the old FoX-Men movies after disneh adds them into the mcu.

No. Jackman was already beloved as Wolverine. There was absolutely no need to risk that with this goofy looking shit.

Even taken aside the obvious difference between the two, the Cowl hardly works either.
The visible eyes ruin the intended effect and all the black only serves to emphasize the pink of the lips.
Makes it look like a fetish costume.

Only like action mask that really worked to date is Deadpool and some of the MCU Spiderman ones.

That mask doesn't look good and it's different from Wolverines anyway. Marvel has also shied away from the type of mask that protrudes from the face. Hawkeye doesn't have it either.

I want that in comicbook movies, you can watch The Fast and the Furious if you want generic action flicks

thats because they didnt care.

None of those costumes looks good.

The costume would've looked fine, and anybody that says otherwise is retarded.

This looks good enough to win a Halloween costume contest. For a movie though? Looks a little silly. Wolverine's mask is just hard to pull off irl, in the comics it's very expressive and kinda defies physics. But for movies I figure you'd pretty much need CGI to make it work (white eyes, dynamic brows and cheeks). The bulky static headpieces work for some characters, like Cyclops for instance. But the ones like Wolverine, whose mask is "painted on," just don't read well on the screen. Feel the same way about MCU Captain America and to a degree all the Batman movie cowls.

Well it's cool to have silly costumes again so yes

Ocean master looked amazing.

Fuck off faggot it "didn't make sense" because a bunch of grown ass man children grew up in time since X1 and were corrupted by a literal faggot director putting everyone in black leather.
