I just want a new horror cartoon that is actually scary and isn't sucking it's own dick about how scary it is.
In other words no Gravity Falls.
One thing I noticed about this show was the lack of mainstream voice actors. There was Tara Strong, no Grey Delisle, no Rob Paulsen, no Tom Kenny.
Nope and that's perfectly fine. The series ended well with his backstory episode and the Perfect episode. I did remember hearing about a prequel series a while back. Any news on that?
It's getting a movie with Scooby Doo

Paul Schoeffler is so underrated.
I hope not.
Dilworth admitted in that Rebeltaxi interview that pitching shows like courage today is incredibly difficult, even if a reboot were to come out it'd probably have to be sanded down to make it more safe. But like said, I think it's fine where it ended, there's no real point in rebooting it.
Thankfully, no. It was perfect and ended perfectly. There is no need to dig up every grave in this decrepit era of zero creativity.
The zeitgeist of the late 90s-early00s toons will not be captured again anyway. Look at PPG and its degenerate ass fucking reboot. Imagine how bad a Johnny Bravo reboot attempt would be.
No, if you want to move forward, just lobby to for creative, independent creators get given deals like Danny Antonucci with EE&E. Total creative control, total ownership, just throw a wad of cash at them and tell them to get crackin. Sure, there will be stinkers or mediocre shows but eventually you will get gems which could start new cartoon eras and eventually develop into classics. I mean, even shows like the Simpsons, South Park and Spongebob had to be pitched at some point, right? Studios should be less risk averse. Much maligned it is, Steven Universe was a step in this direction and could have been delivered much better without network interference and hiatuses. Sure, it was nothing special, but it was still a very creator-driven thing, very much its own flavor and had that confidence to be its own thing and see its themes to its conclusion, ultimately lackluster they were. More shows should be able to be their own things.
I hope not. I loved the cartoon but there's no need nor demand for a reboot.
This would be nice. Love a spooky cartoon where each episode was a different story and an overall lore wasn't the main focus.
That was the best part.
>Now do this! *does a frontflip*
>Why didn't you repeat after me?
>You didn't say "The Great Eggplant says"!
That was my favorite episode since I was 7.
A reboot or spiritual successor of Ruby Gloom could do just that if done correctly.
The show was made in-house at Strech Films instead of CN Studios which helped, same reason why Ed Edd n Eddy didn't have those VA's either.
isnt the creator making Young Courage still?
Jim Cummings voiced the Great Fusilli
Why can't they just rerun the original show in some of those teen Titans go blocks. It'd be cheaper, and introduce younger kids to kino. Plus the adults would enjoy the old stuff. Not boomerang either, since that's just the new nicktoons.
Because it will reveal the lack of quality of todays shows plus it is harder to sell merchandise.
>isn't sucking it's own dick about how scary it is.
You're talking about FNAF right?
Dilworth Tried for a 3D courage didn't he?
>Dilworth admitted in that Rebeltaxi interview that pitching shows like courage today is incredibly difficult
Guess it fell through.
That was just a one time appearance though
That never went anywhere, there was even plans for two more 3D shorts, one being Halloween themed and the other Christmas.
Is isnt really marketable in this age of cartoons where every show needs a plot and not just fun slapstick but I would honestly love to see it come back.
The attempt made a while ago made me hopeful but eustace's voice actor dying put a damper on that.
*no Tara Strong
Why not just air it on Adult Swim or Netflix?
Who would be Eustace's new VA tho...
Brian Doyle-Murray
Who would win in a battle between Eustace and HIM from the Powerpuff Girls?
Should we, I just don't want the bad rep that comes with rebuilds
God forbid
