Ray and Citizen Cold from Earth-X also had a whole plot about them and it ended with them getting engaged.

White Canary has had a bunch of chicks and at least three prominent romance plot lines.

What a generic concept, they should have had her do a secret program, like she had to fight or die, of course I believe in having her being gay being a plot point, but it should be to the point of that her family disowns her, and that she has to live on her own

As it is, I think pretty much all gay characters have been handled pretty well. To the point that they have a show about a lesbian who features into various lesbian romance plots.

I say this as a gay man of course.
The only weird gay moment was when William went back to the past and met Ollie. He had a coming out moment and Ollie was all like "Oh yeah, I already knew". Even though his son at the moment was 13 and barely in the show.

not assuming that, hell any other writer can do alot better than me, its just that CW's Writers tend to be for teenage girls, and them handeling DC while playing it as for an Adult TV show seems shallow,
and the lesbian plots are mediocre to the point of "oh your gay, then its ok for you to endanger people" plus with the abundance of quips and trying to be the dark knight at the same time is unnerving. But the main reason is the fact that it was good when it started, but when Daredevil came in, it showed better Superhero TV show writing, There is also way too many supporting characters for a TV show about a superhero,
I dont really have the experience about being gay, however I am bi, but I did also find the writing of characters of letting terrorist not get arrested quite odd, but mostly, it is just annoying for the characters to act all serious, then act all joking like, I guess thats why I prefer HBO's Watchmen and DareDevil over anything CW touches

also I despised the way how they writed the League of assassian characters, which for me, showed that they only cared for diversity when it ment a quota, like Ra's Al Ghul being casted as a white guy and the league being white people, and not semetic people

I knew batwomen was a lesbian in the beginning, the problem is the character is so poorly written to be a dark knight trope story, also my arguement was that CW, a mega corperation, should not be handeling Issues like this,as they are shown to be just trying to make a profit, or known as "white feminism"
