Ran a DC-based supers RPG and ended up with Zee in a relationship with one of our tech-based psionic PCs. Kinda reminded me of how DC flirted with a Zee-Flash (Barry) relationship back in the early 80s, that she would seek out a stable, dependable man after chasing the bad boys through her youth.
I also liked the science/magic interplay, and that both had a troubled history with mental manipulation. One of my favorite RPG stories we ever crafted. Zee getting the support she needed to grow as a person.
Unfortunately there really isn't an equivalent character in actual DC lore. Mento is kinda close but would take considerable rehabilitation to make work. Zee becoming Gar's stepmom would be interesting.
