Name a more perfect superhero couple than Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor

name a more perfect superhero couple than Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor
pro-tip:it's absolute cringe when DC tries pairing Diana with Batman or Superman

Hourman and Liberty Belle.

Captain America and wonder woman

I get Clark and Lois's chemistry , but what about Diana and Steve's? True I think they're made for each other but I struggle to think what makes them work

Here's my favourite couple in all of comics.

Batman and Robin.

I only shipped Wonder Woman and Superman in Injustice

Are you fucking kidding? Those two are nothing to Clark and Lois. The only Steve anyone cares about is Chris Pine being Chris Pine.

Lois is for losers. Lana and Clark will always be superior.

Smallville comics Steve and Diana were great.

Get off Yas Forums, Lana. You had your shot

They need to bring back that love triangle idk why they got rid of it post-crisis

Diana/Bruce/Clark
Yes, Bruce is the sandwich filling

Clark and Lois as well as Bruce and Selina have an easily understandable dynamic that adds tension.
Lois is a journalist dedicated to rooting out secrets that might be of public interest. Clark is hiding one of the biggest secrets ever. Lois tends to be a cynic even if she does retain some belief in ideals while Clark tends to be an optimist even while acknowledging there’s a lot of bad shit in the world that isn’t going to be fixed simply by smiling and hoping. That adds tension that gives their dynamic some heat. But they’re both dedicated to pushing back against people like Lex who treat the world like it’s their playground, they’re both independent and willing to fight for their beliefs, they both love writing, they both care deeply about the common good and so you understand why they would fall for each other.

Bruce is dedicated to wiping out crime. Selina is a criminal. And not just a criminal: she’s a petty thief which is the exact type of criminal that took Bruce’s parents away. There’s a ton of tension in their relationship. But they both have a soft spot for children (Robin/Holly), they both are fiercely independent and disregard the law when it suits them (vigilantism/thievery), they both have their autistic hang ups (Bruce’s control freak tendencies, Selina’s kleptomania), and they both bond over shared traumatic upbringings. There’s enough tension and commonality to get why they would find each other attractive, being the forbidden fruit for one another.

Why Diana and Steve don’t have that yet is that Diana keeps getting her core fucked with, so the writers often don’t have a solid foundation to build on. They don’t know who Diana is so they don’t know how to write Steve in relation to her. Plus Dina is often used as a trophy for Superman (Kingdom Come/Injustice) or Batman (DCAU/DCEU) with no regard for her as an independent character.

Chris Pine Steve Trevor is great, in looking forward to seeing him again in WW1984.

Steve is perhaps the most boring love interest in all of comic. It's so self evident that in DC superhero girls they make fun of it

And yes I am a Wonderbat fag

They don't have it because there's nothing to work with. If everyone can be Clark and Lois, or Bruce and Selina, then everybody and momma would have those iconic relationships. Does Wonder Woman have what it takes to dethrone Batman as the king of DC? No she doesn't because that's the cards she was dealt with and she was dealt with some generic dude that could be replaced with anybody. Only a severely deluded person (likely a woman) would compare Steve Trevor to Lois and Selina.

The whole thing is so incredibly boring every time we have to witness it. Some dude washed up on shore, and then she leaves with him, so she's stuck with him and that's it. Bruce isn't stuck with Selina or any of his other girls, Clark isn't stuck with Lois, they just gravitated towards each other eventually.

Their relationship is nice in the 2009 animated film.

It's poetic which makes sense.
And it ties in with Wondie being the embodiment of every hero myth.

You mean the same film where he tried to get her drunk to date rape her. Steve was insufferable in that movie the fact that Wonder woman puts up with him was a miracle

It's not poetic it's baggage the best thing to ever happen to Steve was marring Etta post crisis free Wonder woman from his suckage

I'll admit Wonder Woman fucking any in the trinity is cringe but just because those two are bad doesn't make Steve good.

Take that back right fucken now.

No. Steve sucks, he is the very definitions of lookwarm.

She was in a porno with superman

wonder how many racists will get mad when she gets cast as a black woman in the ava movie

Even Superman and Wonder Woman is a more interesting pairing than Steve Trevor and Wonder Woman. Steve Trevor is just a useless damsel in distress that brings nothing to the table.

WoW now sunny let's not get carried away SM/WW is the definition of failure. It's the worst thing especially for Wonder woman

Clearly the problem here is that we don't get many stories centered around Steve compared to the other Trinity's partners.

Wonder Woman/Captain America

At least it's interestingly bad, rather than bland bad still any shipping in the trinity is inherently bad

Because he isn't interesting it's simple. DC tried it during rebirth they gave him his own Mimi series and had him show up everywhere Diana when he even got to fuck her on on panel in Batman wonder woman yet no one gave a damn.

No fuck you each idea must stand on their own merit rather than claiming something is inherently bad.

Maybe WW is one of those characters who just shouldn't get a single love interest at all? Feels to me that she's the sort of character that either would give equal feelings to most men who fit into a category for her(respect/bravery/heart/etc.) or she simply doesn't have any interest in romance at all.

Alright explain how, Superbats, wonderbats, superwonder and superwonderbats arent bad
