I love/hate Robert Crumb really, really hard. Most of his stuff is disgusting and irredeemable and I would be happy if it just disappeared from the face of the Earth. He does seem like a funny a likeable person though and some of his stuff is interesting though. Maybe that is the whole purpose.

There's such a fluidity to the way it's illustrated that when you're high it almost feels like you're watching a cartoon, but also we should probably grow the fuck up stop getting high.

The movie was entertaining at least, I kind of liked it. And I know how Crumb reacted they talk about it in the doc how he has Fritz get stabbed with an icepick which I now realize is a reference to Trotsky probably. There's interesting footage from the doc where he's lecturing students and telling them how he's mostly known for fritz the cat movie and the 'keep on truckin' slogan which he's embarrassed by
