Is Providence the only lovecraftian comic worth reading?

>alternate world so different from ours it has legal suicide pavilions (Alan mindlessly stealing from King in Yellow)
>in this world, radically at odds with Christian ethics, being a fag is still bad tho
Providence is trash

Neither of those are arguments faggot
Yes

being a fag is bad no matter where you are in time and space

Neonomicon is good too

This

The Courtyard too

Providence is good, it is still way too sexually crass.

Did they ever collect this into one book? The original hardcover trades are too expensive.

Cry more, faggots.

>Alan mindlessly stealing from King in Yellow
Are you fucking stupid? The King in Yellow is HP lovecraft favorite book and influenced his own works, of fucking course a person trying to make a lovecraftian story will use it as an influence.

Post women taking creature semen

False premise, Moore is at his worst when wanking off Lovecraft and thus Providence is nothing better than bland.

You weren't supposed to point that out

This one is good for a laugh.
There's a copy in my book club that is slowly going through everyone.

Any Lovecraftian is unreadable.

Do you have any actual arguments or just seethe?
For illiterates like you yes

>For illiterates like you yes
Randomness and shockvalue bodyhorror doesnt make a book good. Sure if you like surface level entertainment, or in this case shock, sure you get your buck out of it.
But overall it is just fanfictiontier.

Fall of Cthulhu is good.
At least vol 1-5, leave volume 6 alone.
Art somewhat sketchy.

Every single bad part of the book is when Alan lets his perverted stuff through and it completely takes away from any actual feelings of horror. The Thing on the Doorstep part was so out of place it takes you out of the story, and the blowjob scene in issue ten is so laughably shoehorned in that it 100% takes you out of the story.

Being a fag conflicts with natural law, thus universally bad

No they don’t I agree, but these are hardly the only events of the series. Either you didn’t read it or the sub-text completely swept by you.

>Worse than a Morrison fag.

Also pic related is great.

You shouldn't even read that.
Moore just likes to shit all over Lovecraft.

Dastardly & Muttley.

I had the same experience, the story would have been alright if Moore wouldn't have to insert his crude shit at every occasion.

>still no actual arguments

Boo hoo. I’m not commenting on Providence I commenting on you.
“that’s not an argument isn’t an argument, either er and neither is “you just didn’t get it.”

Honestly the one thing thast makes Lovecraft so beloved is the creature design.
And being the first in this genre.
