Like it’s so simplistic but fucking stylish

A little to much like Spawn but still cool

Looks like it's aping the Sin City aesthetic, only minus the purely black and white with red scheme.

Simple.
Simplistic means it's simple to the point of detriment.

It’s more that the Phantom Blot was always depicted as a pitch black guy and they wanted it to carry over, the comic doesn’t quite carry the same vibes If it were Spawn his capes would be seven billion feet long

Connotation and denotation are gay, also would you guys want a storytime if I can find the comic translated?

A bit The Maxx, there.

Kinda reminds me of ViVi but without a hat

Is the Phantom Blot a mouse, a dog or a living piece of darkness?

Funnily enough he predates Vivi because this faggot was made in 1939
Weird looking dogface beneath the mask but the Italian comics like the idea that it isn’t a mask and that’s his actual form. Unless we’re talking Epic Mickey which that version is an entirely different character

Dog. Looks like this beneath the hood.

>buckles, big coat and puffy sneakers
He'd fit in well in Kingdom Hearts, honestly.

Oh I know. Just meant in regards to the design with the coat.

> but the Italian comics like the idea that it isn’t a mask and that’s his actual form
That's Denmark shit. Italian comics have him run around without the hood all the damn time.

stupid

>looks like a heartless
>is Mickey’s arch enemy in the comics
>could totally steal shit and have it be important due to the weird way Kingdom Hearts works with belief and emotions
I’d be down
The Phantom Schlong, his ultimate weapon
Ah noted
Oh, whoops! Brain got switched it seems

>Oh, whoops! Brain got switched it seems
It's stupid anyway because the guy was seen without his hood in his very FIRST story. It was not meant to be some kind of mystery.

For darkenblot 2 i have translated 2 chapters but i will give to you when i have mega links.

This story is painfully retarded and I hate it.

I think they want it to sort of be like the Octopus from the Spirit the whole faceless super villain who is never seen but constantly eludes to protagonist no matter what. The idea is to make him spookier and more menacing
Jesus Christ Blot, that’s impressively dumb
Oh fuck, you’re the translator user? Bless you dude! You’re a saint

10/10 page

I like the idea that his cloak is reversible with white on the inside so the Blot can camouflage himself in snow; especially since the hem would erase his tracks behind him.

That feels like something Lupin III would pull.

While this feels also like something you'd see in Lupin III but they'd have the sense to come in one at a time.

As is, that has to be one of the dumbest guards ever.

Double Mystery is the best story Mickey has ever been involved with

I know my translation is shitty but here you go :
Darkenblot 2 chapter 1 : mega.nz/file/FqJ3Sa6Y#4gCMsqdcxdpf6ZhfNhtilxhUFyTCHErPdxTp7c1fZdY
Chapter 2 : mega.nz/file/NmBxFYZB#hQIcmvBbsW4AE5-Bh9ofB0Zj92arZ7OxIvS1VPy-paA

And since this is a blot thread let me show you some of his comics :

user, you’re a fucking saint . Thank you very much for all your effort, please keep it up
It’s something so simple yet so effective given it’s just having double sided fabric

First section was really good but things started going downhill fast for me the second Eega Beeva showed up.

>It’s something so simple yet so effective given it’s just having double sided fabric

Exactly, which makes the invisibility fabric later on just feel weird and out of place. Especially since the Blot was already using hypnosis.

It seems like the combination of different things. Color scheme of Robin (batman), shape and form from Frank Miller. Hell, I agree a bit of Spawn is in there with the claws.

It's a great style, don't get me wrong, but it feels like the amalgamation of others' work.

This Darkenblot story is so fucking weird to me. It looks so dark and serious compared to almost every other Mouse or Duck story. Did Topolino have an edgy phase?

There was one story where Phantom Blot was basically a hero akin to Adam West Batman.
