Why did they fuck him up so badly in future?

Why did they fuck him up so badly in future?

he was already fucked up they just made him worse

He got hotter than ever. What are you talking about?

They didn't fucked up in future, they fucked him up in all of the previous seasons.

Wanted to shock audience by making him kill someone.

Right on. Big buff Steven is the only good thing about the finale.

How did they fuck him up?

>I can just keep breaking stuff to fix it, then I'll still have a purpose
that's his conflict, Steven ran out of magical adventures and now has to deal with his human hang-ups.

They made him an insufferable and insecure faggot

Just like you I know it probably hit too close to home

So what you're saying is he became a teenager.

He should have become like a bodyguard or something.

Or used his messiah powers to heal terminally ill kids. Lots of people to go around for him to fix.

Really, I don’t know why Sugar tried to play that he had no future, he’s got a lot of prospects and can more for that world than anybody with an education ever could

If his spit could fix Connie's eyes does that mean it could restore sight to the blind?

Yes

>Built like a JoJo character
Uh based? Based hello? Trannies btfo

>gay males btfo by gay males

They tried to "subvert" and "deconstruct" the child hero archetype by giving Steven PTSD and mental illness because he did dangerous stuff and fought monsters when he was a couple years younger. Because nothing says good writing like slapping the audience in the face with youre feminine benis and calling it "subverting expectations"

>character is muscular
>Jojotards
>BRUH IT'S A JOJO REFERENCE HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF JOJO HE LOOKS LIKE JOJO

So he's literally Jesus? Restores sight to the blind, made Lar(zarus) rise from the dead?

He’s always had problems with fighting Gems and he’s always been a little screwed up

I don't see what the problem with that is. It just seems like an interesting topic to cover and further develop Steven's character if he had no reaction to the events of SU and never talked about having his gem ripped out and now having to interact with the woman who did it like they're buds wouldn't that be seen as a negative thing? This kind of seems like a damned if you do damned if you don't cause it seems unrealistic for him to not have traumatic memories about the events of SU but you still don't like it when he does.

Yes

you can't just throw subvert and deconstruct around as inherently negative things.

Let's be honest, he just wanted to fuck Connie.

I'm not saying the entirety of Future would have been much shorter if the kid got some Maheshwarn pussy buuuuuut

You would think after saving all of humanity and after being through the hell that is the Diamonds Connie would put out like come on

>and when you ask them, "How much should we give?"
>they only answer "More! More! More!"
let the steves rest.

It’s good that he’s moved on

He’s the one who wants to do more. Fuck Beach City, those beach bums and rocks can handle themselves, do something worthwhile with your life if you wanna

Nice to see you masturbaiter

Only the blind that lost their sight along their life. A blind person born blind will never gain it back.

Missed you!

Connie is not sexually attracted to a fat boy. She's only luring him on so she can enjoy everything surrounding his gem life.

Yes. This is implied several times. Remember in Three gems and a baby? The 3 gems (The three magi) come with gifts to the newborn baby Steven(Jesus) and later pic related happens.

Posted wrong pic. It's still a jesus moment.

To my understanding, Sugar intended to end the show with the movie, but either during production or pre-production, CN told her they were getting one MORE season greenlit on top of everything--one she didn't have concrete plans for.

Now, I like some of Future--and I'm pretty sure the stuff with Jasper and Gregg was shit they had planned for the main series but didn't have time for, so they brought their A-game with that. The idea on paper wasn't *bad*: as Steven goes through a full out breakdown over the course of the season, all the episodes are basically vignette send offs to the rest of the cast to bring everything to a close.

Except... it still felt rather condensed, and... rather predictable. It took Yas Forums all of 3 minutes to figure out Steven was going to leave Beach City at the end, based on the credits animations, you could tell the whole time Steven was going to get worse even amid moments of hopeful improvements.

Knowing from the start how it ends makes the ending feel more hollow and unsatisfying. Sure it was cool to see how the other characters were moving on, and Steven not being able to move on led to his downfall but the season could have used a couple re-writes and hiding the endgame in order to save it.

I can only imagine if we DIDN'T all guess Steven was going to leave Beach City, it would have been a much bigger impact, but that's just me.

It’s true. She doesn’t care about Steven like that. Now he’s able to have relationships with healthier people

>TFW this is what Steven will find when he gets back from the road trip

This is what happens when your kid doesn't learn to jack off, they turn into huge phallic monsters that require a lot of people hugging them tightly and kissing them to fix.

I hate this whole idea that growing up comes with being a hormonal depressed pathetic individual, and how every cartoon tries to capture it.

Not everyone grows up like that, a big part of it points out it was how he was raised among pathetic needy people with issues, the Gems

Which kids cartoons have otherwise tried to capture it?
