>SpongeBob has been running on the air for so long that people born in 2002, 3 years after it began, are working on it now
How the fuck is that possible?

least they draw a nice spongebob
shame art skill hardly matters anymore in the modern show

did the actual show at least get better? did it recover from the mid-decade seasons and go back to being good?

because nick put its weight behind bob like disney and mickey. big difference is bob relies on his show still running to stay relevant

From what I hear nick has some pretty good intern programs.

yeah nick is smaller and cant just start buying properties to gain a monopoly w the same vigor as playing a goddamn game of monopoly
so they have to rely on the age old capitalist tactic of... making a product...

It got good again after the second movie, imo.

>Orlando
I thought you had to live in LA to do boards for Nickelodeon.

>Zoomers are the ones ruining Spongebob
Not surprised, watch him dab and floss in the upcoming episodes.

come think of it, the looney tunes had a 4 decade run, spongebob is only halfway there

True

>18 and already got a job on Spongebob
Damn, must be some kind of prodigy that drew since they came out the womb

they make like 4 episodes a year and rerun it to hell

Doesn't Nick have a studio in Florida as well the same was CN has one in Atlanta, Georgia?

>18 years old and working on a big network show

They better be involved in some low-tier job like revisions or something. If they're a major player like a character designer or storyboard artist, it just further proves my point that these networks hire young, inexperienced artists and boot out veterans because they just want to keep the cost of employees down. But filling all of the animation industry with inexperienced artists and storytellers is exactly why we get disasterously messy shows like Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Star Vs, Owl House, and OK KO.

>18 and already working as storyboarder
>20 and still haven’t done anything
FUUUUCK IT’S OVER FOR ME ISN’T IT

Yep, time to an hero yourself

The animation is so poor and basic even beginners can do it

>18, you have a job in animation industry
>21, you have your own show
why is everything too easy for zoomers?

Nickelodeon closed their Florida studio years ago.

So is this new gen in the animation industry not even bothering with college? Art school gonna become a thing of the past?

Nick Studios in Florida closed nearly 15 years ago.

Also there wasn't any animation production there, just live action stuff.

>waste time and money learning how to draw calarts style at school or just ape spongebob in your spare time
hmm tough call

I mean, is it? Is it really?

Is that one of the episodes Oney storyboarded? We got some more Newgrounds Style looking stuff there.

Zach not Oney

Left looks like a web animation that is trying too much to look like Spunko

Say what you will about the story, but we haven't gotten TV animation that good since Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy ended.

>cartoony animation isn't allowed because it looks like Spumco
I remember seeing someone here say that seven years ago, when the first footage of Wander Over Yonder was released. If was The Picnic. I hate that people are still saying this crap. I hate what you're doing to the medium.

SOULLES / SOUL

Nope, it's all about connections

This goes to show good writing trumps overuse of animation for visual gags.

not all education systems are created the same. more and more schools around the world are preparing high school level kids to do professional work right after graduation
