What went so WRONG?

Introducing more charecters. Stiffer and lack luster animation. Forced romance.

Should have just been a season that takes place in between season 1 and 2

People forgot young justice was never good.

first season was nice

Animation started looking more like the Direct to DVD DCAU movies.

Other than that idk, I liked it well enough.

2/3 of the season being about Twitter PR

No. No it was rather quite bad. I seriously don't know how this got a fanbase at all.

Cancellation threw off the planned story, Greg is really autistic about keeping stories set in current year

>focusing on new characters
>throw under the bus the old members with few cameos
>bad animation
>bad writting

Someone should help Greg with the writing for the next season, because introducing the Galactic Heroes now would be a serious bad move.

>old likeable cast replaced with a bug that speaks in third person, prince that sometimes gets mad but not really, overpowered bisexual genderfluid hijabi wearing muslim refugee and a bland adult
>focused story replaced with slice of life filler, if you skipped 20 out of 26 episodes you wouldn’t miss anything important
>old cast gets no focus, all the focus is on the new boring guys, 2016-2020 politics or social media
>butchering of old characters; Beastboy just goes on 20 minute ‘inspirational’ rants every episode, Aqualad is now gay for some reason, even though he had two seasons of being in love with Garth’s girlfriend, Superboy and Miss Martian are just there
>no storyline whatsoever, the light does nothing and there is no event that’s happening, the whole season feels like it’s a 26 episode long set-up for the next season

>too many characters
>too many plotlines
>another timeskip
>pointless relationship drama
>spends more time seeding future stories than developing the stuff already introduced
>half-baked youthful rebellion theme
>#toorelatable twitter subplot
The series is way too ambitious for it's own good. Wiesman is trying to fit the entire DC universe into a single cartoon without fully developing anything. Just watch season 4 forget about half the ideas introduced the last season and be a Sinestro Corps war adaptation instead.

I literally forgot the new characters in season 2 because they're so unimportant and they wanted to add new characters? Fuck off.

Too many characters. It was fine when it was just about Dick and his team.

Goddamn reading this makes me remember how far the series has fallen since season 1. What the fuck those hacks doing for the show to be like this?

This. And the characters they introduced last season were completely forgotten about
Beastboy’s girlfriend got more screentime than Robin

Doubling down in everything people hated from season 2.

Pretty much the budget

Liberals.

The budget, especially them just reusing some of the designs from the Nu52 movies. Thankfully, now that they're ending, we can get some fresh designs. Also, hopefully WB shells out more cash for season four.

>Should have just been a season that takes place in between season 1 and 2

I will never understand the obsession to actually go backwards to see mostly shit we already know happens. Nothing huge happened during that gap and we already saw Tula's death and Aqualad's parental reveal in the game. We really aren't missing out on anything huge.

This. It has it's moments but overall it wasn't as good that people made it out to be.

>overpowered bisexual genderfluid hijabi wearing muslim refugee
You forgot to add that she's actually an alien supercomputer who identifies as female and is wearing the corpse of a dead girl as a meat suit.

This
People only liked it because the action was ok and gay ships or something

Why would she continue wearing a hijab, it's literally a thing used to oppress women.

I think season one had promise but towards the end of it you can see where the show's going. Like Rocket showing up to join the team outta nowhere with no real character was a good sign of how YJ was gonna handle new characters.

>we already saw Tula's death and Aqualad's parental reveal in the game
Yeah a shitty game no one played

The new characters were meh,

It really does suck that the old team is gone and all we get of them is this and Miss Martian going full uggo with no eyebrows

That was based, actually. Aquachad finally outgrowing his teen secret identity, leading the Justice League and finding love after two seasons of being shit on.

>forgetting a 2 seasons long sotryline just to get EVEN MORE diveristy points was actually based
Yikes. They even had a scene where they congratulated themselves on having more women and black people in the team

Forced diversity and gayness.

His plan was for my plan to fail but that was really their plan all along.

>forgetting a 2 seasons long sotryline

What storyline?

>They even had a scene where they congratulated themselves on having more women and black people in the team

It was a tongue-in-cheek joke since the Outsiders were trying to be a PR-friendly team.
