Tarzan (1999)

I just watched this film again for the first time in years. Why is it so fucking GOOD?

Are you guys serious?

because it's the last movie that had a white adult male lead
the last remnant of a great era

My favorite out of the Disney Renaissance, pretty underrated imho.

Good animation mostly. Glen Keane and his crew went to Paris and studied anatomy under masters of the human form in preparation for this film. Brain Blessed's performance as Clayton was also the perfect level of ham for this kind of pulp adventure.

PHIL COLLINS' VOICE IS ANNOYING

Agree to disagree

TWO GIRLS
ONE FANTASY

I love the soundtrack, the only song I don't like is the dowopskidoo one the apes sing at the camp. But my god, 'Son of Man' 'Strangers like Me' 'Two Worlds' and 'You'll Be In My Heart' always makes me feel joy.
