Well, this thread's off to a great start.

Seth stopped writing and the writers became bitter that they’re writing for family guy to pay the checks instead of things they actually like to be on, it’s basically high paying fast food

They saw how popular Stewie beating up Brian was and decided to make that the entire show.

A few comedy killers that would have brought down any lesser liked show pretty quick:
1) Lost any sense of comedic timing
2) Ran out of ideas
3) Sticking with any line of political thought beyond "fuck everybody"

Watching season 1 family guy now feels so strange.
It’s much slower paced and it’s practically PG-rated.

I always figured it was a similar situation with American Dad as it was with The Simpsons and Futurama. The appearance of that Seth McFarlane Cartoon Cavalcade thing or whatever made no sense to me either, I figured it was there to draw emphasis away from the cutaways on the show itself so they could get back to at least writing somewhat cohesive episodes but the show just doubled down on cutaways after the revival.

What is the deal with these Barney posts?
