Apparently this episode will be "the best ever"
Will it be? Probably not
Will Ahsoka vs Maul be overhyped and overrated? Absoloutely
also stream when?

We already know that most of the major players in this fight are going to survive to appear again in Rebels. They aren't going to split the timeline by killing someone.
Still 2 more episodes after this so I dont expect anything big to happen. Fight with maul, ahsoka captured, ahsoka rescued, they talk with obi+ani, episode ends
Where and when did she get those blue lightsabers?
watch the new season to find out
Fuck you, nigger. She'll capture Maul this episode and be enroute to Coruscant next week for Order 66 to pop off. Kenobi and Skywalker will be too busy handling shit on Coruscant to talk, last week was the last time they spoke as friends.
What does everyone think of this season? I greatly enjoyed Bad Batch, despite the changes from the original storyboard. It wasn't an amazing arc by any means, but it was classic Clone Wars goodness.
The Ahsoka and the space Puerto Ricans arc was shitty. I didn't hate the sister characters, but they were very bland and the story was meandering. It also fucked up the pacing of this season. The reveal in last week's episode that Ahsoka had contacted the Republic fleet should have felt more cathartic; I think we as the audience were meant to feel as if we were being reunited with an old friend, as Anakin was. Unfortunately, I'd just spent a month watching Ahsoka fuck around trying to sell cocaine, so I wasn't surprised to see her, nor had I been anticipating her return.
Despite that, I thought last week's episode was top-notch, and I'm looking forward to the rest. Ahsoka's race with Rex to the landing pad was maybe a little too heavy with the fan service, but I enjoyed watching her and the 501st kick the Mando's teeth in.
Why did Ahsoka have to ditch her Akull tooth headdress?
Yea, the sister's were annoying at times, ideally it would have been better to tone them down and save them for a hypothetical season 8 arc which "fills in the gaps" of where Ashoka was during that time.
The season 7 episodes in its place should have have built up the tension between Anakin and Obi-Wan some more.
Yeah some Obi Wan and Anakin time was desperately needed. We got a hint of it with his quip towards Anakin and Padme in the first episode, but those characters really deserved their own arc. Would have liked to have seen Crystal Crisis.
I like Ahsoka, but the season is too limited to be this Ahsoka-heavy. I think there should have been a clone-centric arc (basically what we got with Bad Batch), a Kenobi-Anakin arc to give us a chance to see their dynamic between Ahsoka leaving the order and ROTS, and finish it off with an Ahsoka-centric arc (which we're getting) as the series has been largely about her journey as a Jedi.
It was giving her hat hair?
That's probably what they wanted to do since the planned season 8 had an arc that focused on almost every main character of the show.
Crystal Crisis and the Ahsoka Underworld ones were meant for the back end of season 6 I think, only the Lost Missions were finished in time. So it wasn't final season material, felt more like those arcs were to focus on the main trio after the season 5 finale (Anakin and Obi-Wan's relationship and Ahsoka on her own).
Why didn't he want the orange pussy?
No Grievous, no watch.
I liked it when the show used to market each season with a theme. S2 was "rise of the bounty hunters" and 5 made a big thing about who would die that season. S6 dealt a lot with Sheev's schemes, that was a major theme running through a lot the arcs imo.
>Clone chips
>Taking control of the banks to fund the Death Star
>Sifo Dyas cover up
>Trying to kill Yoda with sith magic
>Getting the kyber crystal for the Death Star
Filoni's made it clear the final season is all about Ahsoka and Rex, Maul a little bit too. At least they added that extra scene in Bad Batch so we got some more Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme stuff.
Maybe they just didn't see each other again after that? I think he would've gone for Ahsoka but circumstances fucked it up and he ended up marrying some imperial. What I don't get is why Ahsoka never settled down or had a family, she's not bound by Jedi rules.
What's the "ps2 gaaffix" joke here? Bad Batch and so far the Siege of Mandalore has had the best animation in TCW.
Reminder Ahsoka was a bitch to Obiwan for no logical reason. You can't sit here and say she was in the right.
She's not wrong about the Jedi being out of touch. Her reasoning with Obi-Wan was shaky though, like they needed to force some conflict between the characters to make the sisters arc seem like it was worthwhile. My prediction is something similar to the Luminara/Ziro situation will happen in Siege of Mandalore with Ahsoka going after Maul and she'll prioritize the civilians over catching him or something along those lines.
TCW Grievous is lame anyways
And then he starts killing people.
I wouldn't be surprised if this arc does take a pretty dark turn, Order 66 aside. It is running parallel to RotS which is arguably the darkest SW film and TCW hasn't shied away from violence in the past. Witwer claims it's gonna be anyway.
She was full of shit, but the writers want her to be in the right cause they're riding high on this bizarre "Jedi are warmongers" company line, so they just had her have the last word. At this point they'd tear reality asunder and patch it up molecule by molecule instead of have her be wrong, let alone shit on Kenobi.
There's a war where the opposition is lead by an uscrupulous rich aristocrat that sells people to slavery and forces entire systems into alliance with Al Capone tactics and his cyborng lieutenant that just kills everybody who annoys him. And now the capital with billions of innocents including Ahsoka's special needs friends the Undercut Sisters is under attack by these 2 sociopaths. But Ahsoka expects Obi-Wan to drop that cause a planet of violent shitbags that can't go for a week without starting a civil war and that for the past five years wanted nothing to do with Republic now needs the Jedi help asked by none other than a leader of a terrorist cell that started the downward spiral of the same planet and that a year back murdered and burned a village of civilians right in front of Ahsoka. If anything Ahsoka is the one that's out of touch.
This. 100% this. It's like with WWE storylines. We are suppose to pretend and forget shit like that happened just to push a new story and narrative.
>Jedi are warmongers
Maybe that was intentional or meant to be fleshed out in another arc, because her having such an extreme stance was a bit out of character for her. Barriss' words obviously had an impact on her but I didn't expect Ahsoka to completely swallow it up. The Jedi have been manipulated at every turn to keep the war going.
Considering Ahsoka was supposed to nearly come face to face with Sidious in one of the unfinished episodes I think that arc was going to deal with her issues with the Jedi and realizing the Sith have screwed them over more than anything, but all that development is gone now. It's not as simple as Jedi=bad, even if they've strayed from their path as peacekeepers.
Well, with Disney currently shitting themselves, maybe we can continue to campaign for them to extend Clone Wars even further and then we can put them in the right viewing order since the episodes them selves are still good enough.
I mean, we know Maul wont die
Yea, the way they did it was very strange. If Ashoka developed a Qui-Gon like dissatisfaction with the Jedi Council that would be different, but this was neither the time nor the place to complain like this.
A lot of it stems from underdevelopment of the core idea, Ashoka becoming a Jedi in her own right with her own opinions on things is great, but this made her look like a petulant child.
>TCW hasn't shied away
and Rebels hid it every way they could, I dont think disney would let them get away with anything extreme, even the sister being beat up by gangstars had a casua vibe about it
> Maul confronted by Ahsoka and female Mandos.
>Immediately reminded that he left his dick at the bottom of a shaft on Naboo.
> Gives up and quietly walks away.
>"Jedi are warmongers" company line
This isn't something new added by Disney, TCW had this pretty heavily long before they got involved
>and Rebels hid it every way they could
Resistance did, Rebels wasn't as extreme as TCW but it didn't shy away from violence
Ashoka's sudden disdain towards Palpatine did seem a bit unwarranted despite the trial.
