Quagmire having this rant and this out of nowhere episode where quagmire apparently hates brain(this was the first episode this was made canon) was the absolute worst episode of family guy and from then on the entire show began introducing/writing in the "nu" versions of all the characters.
What an awful episode and in this case especially, nu-quagmire being the first "nu" character to be introduced ruined the last remaining bit of familyguy not being complete dogshit even though most of Yas Forums seems to hate family guy in general.
