>Orders a bunch of shows from various creators as part of a new block
>All of them either get cancelled after 1-2 seasons, never air, and/or get sent to other networks

is it going to be more anti white male sjw shit full of pro feminist propaganda like every other modern piece of "entertainment"?

It's off to an alright start, by my god have they failed at marketing. Literally the only time I've seen any advertising for it was when the Purgatory people made a video saying it was going to be shown on TV.

In terms of marketing failure, I'd put it somewhere between the marketing for The Hitman's Bodyguard and Chiller Anime Wednesdays.

It's a rehash of El Rey's attempt with the same shows

How many times has this happened now?

Comedy Central made a sunday night animation block to directly compete back in 2002-03ish

Then Spike tv tried it around 04
Starz Action had late night anime in 2004
Then Tech TV made a late night anime block in 05ish
Scifi tried Animonday around 09
Chiller tried Aniwednseday around 2010
Hub had midnight classic 80s cartoons

and none of them ever made it much past a year, if they ever made it a full year.

TZGZ is such a dumb name for a programming block

>It's a rehash of El Rey's attempt with the same shows
The Luchador wrestling channel had animated shows?

>Hub had midnight classic 80s cartoons
Honestly the Hub 80s cartoon block showed success in the week nights ratings.

Canucks had Bionix on YTV that lasted five and a half years, but it was more of a Toonami knockoff, and being on basic cable it wasn't really competing with anything.
