God everything about that movie was a waste of amazing talent

Every Tai Lung fight was amazing. Even the one with Po, mainly because it showed Po’s fighting style (drunken master but fat) and why it’s a problem for a traditional fighter.

I didn't watch Rebels but I did see this one scene and by god it's really fucking beautiful. I especially liked how it blows your expectations out of the water where you expect all fights to be ten minute clashes to the death but in order to show how much Obi-Wan has grown and how different he was from the last times he meet Maul he is able to completely see through his tactics and take him down in less than two strikes.

>flashy garbage
It was a great combination of visual elements yet still showing technique, and on top of that progressed the character arc of both fighters.
Did one of the animators fuck your mom or something?

Rebels could have been gr8 if not for Disney censorship and a shit ending (and waifu saving time travel out of nowhere in the last season).

cool
but why did maul do that little push upwards like that anyway?

This is all visual storytelling, and deliberate, too. Ben Kenobi™ tricked Maul by assuming the same stance Qui-Gon did. Maul wanted to do the same winning move, thinking the lightning will strike twice. He got tricc'd.

Yeah, I've heard about that but it's been a while since i've watched phantom menace.
I'm guessing maul hit Jin in the chest with that move?

It was to paralegal with Darth Maul and Qui Gon Ginn's fight in the prequel in which he does the same push into head butt move
