Elsa didn't make Olaf (The alive Olaf) consciously. As ugly as it sounds, he was an accident, a by-product of her Letting it go.

It's still less work. The model and skeleton is done and they would just need to update the textures, etc. Kinda like how the Jurassic World Rex is actually bthe same CGI model as the Jurassic Park One with a new texture.

Animators are not writers and most of these are clearly just the animators messing around with different situations.

There's a difference between "they're animators, not writers" and just some common sense. I thought of his carrot still being stuck in the tree almost immediately. Have they never seen a cartoon before?
