For all the crap I could give TLH or BCG, I can still watch and somewhat relate to them, unlike Yas Forums and its asinine hateboner for SOL, unless it has fap and/ship material in it and not much else.

Gay Space Rocks and Star Vs Her Own Obnoxiousness were never (all that) good and were begging to fail after too long, despite being nothing but what Yas Forums is here for damn near 100% - fapping and shipping, which aren't enough to make a show worth revisiting once that's all there is to it.

Big City Greens has the faux populism thing going on, southerners would genuinely watch anything and I mean ANYTHING with a main character who speaks with a bit of twang. I think it's just also better merch bait, Boobchuy here has a couple posters but BCG has adorable as fuck characters so they have figures, clothes, and whatever bullshit people buy with cartoon characters on them.
I'd guess so since it aired nearing the end of Phineas and Ferb.

Disney Channel plays this show like every night and has ads for it which is more than any other Disney cartoon can say right now, except for maybe The Owl House.

Exactly. Most of the shows listed in that tweet are all episodic and easy for kids to follow. The only exception is DuckTales 2017, which I think Disney is only propping up because they want the nostalgia cash-in (and they may have unwisely approved some spin-offs before seeing how the show itself actually performed).

Lore-based shows are good for online fandom, it’s true. But online fandom doesn’t necessarily mean views or profit. I don’t think DuckTales 2017 will be as loved as, say, the original in thirty years’ time.
