It seems like this episode was the last time the Simpsons truly felt like a real family, and yes Bart acted really bad here.

Then you probably can’t stand a lot of things

Nah, I love Homer's Enemy and I think I made it as far as season 18 before I stopped watching so my tolerance is pretty high

Honestly, I found the whole episode in general to be something of a shit show.

The episode was bad and it was stupid as fuck for Marge and Homer to put their younger sister in charge of her older brother.

Also the DVD commentary when Josh Weinstein had his 7 year old kid or whatever on it which was annoying as fuck.

This was honestly one of my favorite episodes, back when I first saw it.
I still like it. I never got the hate towards Bart being a jerk. He’s clearly mad and feels insecure that his lil sister is babysitting him, so it makes sense that he’d make her job as hard as possible. Siblings are like that.

This, literally what parent has ever done this? Even bad parents? Good parents would give the older sibling control because older = more experience and more physical power, while bad parents would give the older sibling control because older = more physical power. Literally who the absolute fuck lets the younger girl sibling look after the older male sibling?

They're not quite as annoying as they are in Bart vs Lisa vs the Third Grade which I really can't stand, but they are both pretty fucking punchable.
