COULD IT HAVE WORKED?

Ross really is just a bizarrely talented fan artist, isn't he?

He's too talented. His art freaks me out.

Captain Marvel always looked oddly sinister in this one.

Ross spent a lot of time doing Kingdom Come. In that Capt. Marvel was twisted by Luthor, so it would make sense to have him looking sinister for that story. Afterward it seems that he just kept on drawing him looking like he's about to beat your ass for fun.

I always saw him as his antithesis.

Nah.

But where's Green Lantern?

He didn't have a live action adaptation between 1975 and 1991.

Who could have played him back then?

Tom Cruise.

How has there still not been a good Justice League live-action? I wish I could get a hold of Justice League Mortal from an alternate dimension.

Why? It wouldn't have been good.

not great with motion or combat

It'd be interesting. How would it work though, I assume Wonder Woman would be the first superhero in their timeline because she has the WWII adventures before having 70's adventures, and Superman's adventures start in the late 70's so they'd be contemporaries?

Also when did the first Burton Batman movie take place, 1989 or a different time?

I'd actually argue that he used to be, or at least used to be better at it than he is now. His work on Marvels felt a lot more loose and dynamic, not so overly polished.

>Also when did the first Burton Batman movie take place, 1989 or a different time?
It's never explicitly stated when it takes place, and it contains both contemporary and anachronistic elements.

Because WB let's everything be decided by the boardroom. Say what you will about the overall quality of the MCU, but it works because of the unprecedented amount of autonomy that Kevin Feige has.

He is a very talented weeb as well.

>weeb
That's not really weeb level stuff though. It's still part of the standard 70s/80s manchild nostalgia package.

Static poses can be statuesque and made to look larger than life. He excels in that for obvious reasons since he uses real life models for his poses. That's why he's best for comic covers or comics with not that much action.

Nope.

Tom Selleck

>Tom Cruise playing a second-stringer in an ensemble.
>Peak 90's Tom Cruise playing a second-stringer period.

You be trippin'.

It wasn't as bad as people say

Who plays J'onn?

The man drank his own pee, your argument is invalid.

I like that movie
