>Hey user! Lookin good!
>We’re all excited to hear your pitch on how to save traditional animation in one (1) theatrical film.
>Well, go ahead, the floor is yours big guy.
Hey user! Lookin good!
milky. big milky. big milky to support a dairy farm.
Abolish money.
uhhhh Land before time 28

....Who the fuck are you people, and how did you get into my apartment?
Epic of Gilgamesh, but all of the characters are voiced by porn stars.
A classic swords and sorcery film that is all ages with a lean towards more mature audiences. No sex, drugs, or obscenity- but dark themes with real losses. Really go ham on the animation, but like a ghibli film don't be afraid to have still moments and let the characters breath.
Have it have flash enough for younger audiences (dragon, swords, magic), but some deeper themes for older audiences (a failing kingdom that is still necessary to protect the citizens, but may be unable to, The need for a main character to take a hard path with real sacrifices on their end)
Have villains that have depth, but are still truly villainous, with real power and intelligence.
Let it have attractive characters while also having characters who are not traditionally attractive. Let characters have depth regardless of their attractiveness.
I mean, I don't know if it will make money, but that's what I'd want to watch.
that's gay, I'm making a Pokemon hentai
Sounds great, we'll call it The Black Cauldron
fuck off whities let's bring the Japanese in and see what they think of Pokemon hentai
Less cute. Make it so an adult who doesn't watch animation can see it without embarrassment. Make it so people treat it with the respect of a film.
Ace Combat: The Belkan War by Miyazaki
Living dangerous
*laughing Bakshi in the distance*
It’ll be about a brown lesbian surviving in Trumptopia.
Animorphs directed by Genndy Tartakovsky.
Actually hiring competent people and choosing quality over speed/ money saving short cuts.
That kind of shit worked during the age of television when people were at the mercy of a programming squedual. The internet has changed that drastically, we live in the age where quality if more important.
40k directed by Genndy Tartakovsky
Diversity is an important component for international appeal, but that might be a bit too on the nose. Keep workshopping.
Write that down, write that down!
*Ahem*
In an eastern land an ancient darkness was sealed away using a sword, necklace, and mirror. After generations of peace the three sacred objects are stole by a young thief by the name of Tsukuyomi on the advice of a mysterious woman named Izanami who promised it would grant him power and respect.
Upon stealing the objects however, Tsukuyomi awakened the ancient darkness which returns to the eastern land and begins to eat away at it. In order for the darkness to be stopped a member of the eastern lands Royal Family has to travel to a temple in heaven and bring them forth to the figure known as Izanagi to bless them.
Amaterasu the youngest member of the royal family decides to be the one to do the task and sets out to track down Tsukuyomi, retrieve the sacred seals, and defeat the approaching darkness and the mysterious lady Izanami. Along the way she meets many characters like the want to be samurai known as Susanoo who tags along with her.
Thoughts?
Your idea sounds a little... complicated for younger viewers. What is our target audience? Might I suggest changing the names to sound less... oriental? Maybe a talking animal sidekick?
But -I- am a brown lesbian! STOP OPPRESSING ME! RRRREEEEEEEE!
Wouldn’t it be better to license a pre existing property so we get the benefit of name recognition and a built in audience?
Adaptation of Greek Mythology. Real stuff, not watered down Disney bullshit.
What would you have in mind user? Remember, Powerpuff Girls the movie taught us that TV -> Theater conversions don’t usually cut it.
So what you’re saying is... she copulates with a bull... onscreen? H-how many beheadings?
Can I get greenlit if my project is R-rated with action, fighting, and war battles along with sex and nudity? I want a lot of money for the animation budget and I want to hire expensive voice actors who will be really difficult to get a hold of in the same recording sessions.
user NO, STOP!
Football, or soccer to you Americans, is the most popular sport in the world. I say we license a lot of popular soccer players’ likenesses (including some women players) and do a movie about them playing soccer against a bunch of aliens to save the world. We could use notable landmarks as set pieces for the games. It’d be like Space Jam, but with more global appeal and fully animated. We’ll rip off the style of those slant eyed japs that the kids love so much.
