Tiny Toons or Animaniacs
Tiny Toons or Animaniacs
Animaniacs, by a mile.
Tiny Toon was kind of the setup prototype "test" series for what they could accomplish with Animaniacs, so Animaniacs was clearly better
Tiny Toon is pretty squared up in the porn department though
Tiny Toons. If Animaniacs had been first released today and not in the 90s, Yas Forums would have hated it
Freakazoid
for me it's A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
Tiny Toons is quite good. But I'm aware that some vocal people have a miserable attitude towards how it handles parodies and homage. As for Animaniacs, I haven't seen it in far too long to remember.
Freakazoid.
Animaniacs, I'm a zoomer who didn't get any of the references as a kid but I still loved it.
That’s a weird statement because I’ve always felt that Tiny toons was the more 90’s show and Animaniacs stands more on its own legs.
Neither
Animaniacs is obnoxious, only like 1 in 30 episode is worth watching
Tiny Toons is plain old fun
Freakazoid is a masterpiece. Edgar Wright needs to make a live action version featuring Tad Hilgenbrink as Freakazoid
Agreed, Animaniancs was mediocre with a few gems hear and there. Pinky and the Brain was great though.
Ren & Stimpy
Animaniacs by a long shot, I appreciate more now. As a kid I purely watched it for this fucker. But now I like it a whole lot more.
I liked both equally, but Tiny Toons could've been better if they made more use of this little dodo
I haven't watched Tiny Toons yet, but I would still choose Animaniacs *dabs*
Same
animaniacs gave me my first boners, so I choose animaniacs
Childhood: Get boners to Minerva and Hello Nurse
Adulthood: Get boners to Minerva, Hello Nurse AND Yakko
I think Animaniacs was probably more clever for older audiences, and I look back on some jokes more fondly as an adult, but as a kid I didn't understand half of the references.
The entire running theme of the Pigeons skit was a Goodfellas reference. How many children will get that one?
THIS GUY GETS IT!
Yas Forums already hates it.
Doesn't matter. Kids don't have to get references if the jokes stand on their own. If the reference IS the joke, it's worthless.
Animaniacs.
By a lot.
It's a hard choice, but between the two I'd say Tiny Toons aged better. Animaniacs excelled in many areas, but it fell privy to making too many dated pop culture references, whereas Tiny Toons were about general cartoony antics.
Strike that, reverse it.
Animaniacs for me I just felt it had more interesting characters than teen version of already established Looney Tunes.
I like the way you think.
Nah, we call animaniacs a historical comedy.
get the webms anonkun did of tiny toons!
Even as a Gen X, the refs were dated, BUT if you do some film history study, or watch a couple old movies, or hell GOOGLE the old celebrities the jokes get a lot funnier. Like Kirk Douglas, or Jerry Lewis. Make it a game to learn about references.
