damn, are men really like this?
Damn, are men really like this?
yeah. they're called poor people.
where have you been?
Some are, most aren't. Most men spend their lives working to provide for their families.
>Lenny works the same job as Homer
>lives like a leech on society and barely affords the same shit as Homer
Zuh?
My floor is covered in garbage.
You ever been in a single man's apartment?
>Bare walls
>no tables
>bed sitting on the floor
And a 72 inch TV with gaming console.
He spends all his money on heroin.
homer's a stupid city slicker
He got a nicer place eventually.
I thought he lived with Carl
OP image is just playing off this - thread's started with this pic constantly get 300+ reply threads on other boards
>tattered curtain
>exposed light bulb
>cracks in the wall paint
>singular chair at table
>in my underwear eating from a tin can with a spoon
I am a woman and I’ve lived like this.
Still do, mostly. My place is just slightly nicer right now. I wouldn’t put up with the wall falling and exposing the entire house to the open air, though, that would be too cold.
White male privilege.
A better caption is "guys really live in apartments like this and call it "minimalism"
Because that's exactly what those threads devolve into
The tv should be in the back corner so the chair doesnt block your path from the door to the kitchen. Lenny's apartment has great interior design compared to this
Elitist
This reminds me of a friend of mine who has his own house, and one of the rooms is completely empty except for a sailor mercury cardboard cutout.
At least he has good taste.
Lenny's living condition is wildly inconsistent depending on what the joke wants
Mercury is all right, but I'm more of a Sailor Jupiter kinda guy.
I want to build a house that has a studio apartment. Not to rent out, but to live in myself. Leave the rest of the house empty.
I don't care to own enough stuff to fill a house.
I read that as Freddie Mercury for a second, and if it were, it would have worked even better.
Obviously he was planning on getting a whole set and hit some snags.
Yeah sorry I don't feel like buying retarded knick knacks to pier 1 to "fill out my home"
Mars forever.
>bed sitting on the floor
bed frames are annoying to set up and stain my carpet
japs have the right idea
The issue with the photo isn't the lack of "knick knacks" it's also the lack of functional furniture (i.e. coffee table, side table, extra seating for guests, etc)
>Not Minako
fags
Bed on the floor isn't automatically a bad thing but there needs to at least be a box spring. Guys who put their mattress directly on the floor are disgusting and setting themselves up for ruin.
It’s obvious the guy is not expecting to ever have guests over, but yeah a simple table or something would bring the room together.
all those things you mentioned are for guests, but if you don't have guests come over, why bother?
Can't you see he's struggling with depression and anxiety already? Cut the guy some slack.
