Wrong. An animal in their lifetime consumes more plants than it would take to make material out of the plants directly. Ivy would never participate in the leather and wool industries. Commercial Cattle ranching is a major driver of climate change for Christ's sake, with the amount of methane it produces, and of deforestation in countries like Brazil, meaning many ecosystems destroyed by human behavior. Eating and wearing plants is the least impactful way she could feed and clothe herself.
