Why marvel can't produce good cartoons?

Both of these. Marvel cartoons are largely shit, and the exceptions are because they were done by studios with little Marvel control.

DC generally makes good cartoons, but it's been a long time since they had a great one. The Brave and the Bold ended eight years ago, and Young Justice hasn't been good since season 2. Besides SHG what else is supposed to be carrying the torch, TTGO?

Spectacular Spider-Man and Avengers EMH were fantastic until both were cancelled for programs that had more synergy with the MCU

DC make good cartoons because they make shitty movies. marvel is exactly the opposite. it's a balance

Not even. DC Super Hero Girls works with long established characters as it's own thing. Marvel Rising is just shameless promotion for all the lame new characters from comics with failed push

You can't blame Disney entirely for that. Rebels is in exact same situation as the Marvel cartoons and it runs several circles around them. Resistance is boring garbage, but at least it had a distinct visual style compared to the bland-looking Marvel cartoons.

I thought Green Lantern and Beware the Batman were just as good as YJ, but I guess people got turned off because of the CGI. HBO Max should prove an excellent platform for WB to make full-fledged DC cartoons again, but they're already squandering with a three-episode Aquaman mini-series by the Thundercats Roar people.

Because in general Marvel sucks a lot. They are just a general rip-off of everything else done by other comics, not only DC.

Then I hope you avoid Yost's Twitter accounts. He's been talking about all of the plans they originally wanted to have for season two before Loeb and co. ruined everything. He also recently auctioned off the original Emperor Doom script for charity.

DC is toying around with really extra tooney wacky slapstick cartoons with their properties.

Marvel does not really experiment at all and just tries to adapt their stuff to comics or movies.

It's their almost-all-female show with America, Ghost Spider, Ironheart, and the like.
Normally I try to avoid the "pol this, SJW that" kind of discussion, but this show is patronizing to a painful degree. It doesn't just affect the themes of the show, it affects the presentation. Dialogue comes across as lecturing, meandering, and unnatural. The visuals have the veneer of competence in stills, but look absolutely rigid and terrible in motion.
The ironic thing is this show has terrible writing, but it's also clearly writer-driven. These are people who view Marvel shows as a platform for themselves. Not for the characters, creativity, or craft.
