Why didn't Arnold get Pigeonman to self-improve so he could fit into society?

Why didn't Arnold get Pigeonman to self-improve so he could fit into society?

Teach him how to dress, improve social skills, nofap, get different hobbies, get a job, etc. It feels like they just gave up and said "NEET it up".

Lost causes exist.

hermits and the like have existed in every society. It's just something that occasionally happens

Everyone has the right to choose who they want to be, whether or not it's good for them.

Hey, the guy was just living his life, and a bunch of kids wrecked his spot for fun. He doesn’t owe them anything and he’s happy enough how he is, and maintains the hope that he can be himself and be with society one day

Sometimes people don't want to live by your standards of success.

People suck. He is blessed to be with the Birds

this

The whole point of the show is Arnold gets them on them on the right path.

autism exists.

>self-improve
>anything to do with "fitting a into society that respects you only if you behave a certain way"
see this is exactly what im talking about arnold...

And again, lost causes exist.

it was also about recognizing the truth. This dude would never fit into society and even attempting to do so would likely end up in some batman villain-like tragedy

there is no right path, sometimes arnold fails, sometimes he succeds, sometimes the people he helps are assholes that didnt changed their ways... arnold is a very deep series.

They have to want it too, you can’t force change on people, Pigeon Man was okay with not being in society, and you just gotta respect that, even if you didn’t think it’s best for him

>fit into society
Who would wish such a horrible fate onto anyone?

He tried that later with Monkeyman. He learned that there are some people who just don't fit in normal society well, no matter how they try.

The difference between Pigeon Man and Monkeyman is that Pigeon Man is a sensitive soul who relates better to the nonjudgmental pigeons he cares for than most people and Monkeyman is a nut - a do-gooder nut, but a nut nonetheless.

It was society that needed to improve, user. They were very clear on this. You should probably watch the episode again.

It's not Blues Clues, we don't follow the same formula every time. Arnold isn't a show about 'fixing' people either, sometimes characters grow and learn things, sometimes they don't.

Monkeyman was doing fine in society but Sid guilt him back because muh boots.

I can't remember Arnold "failing" to help people, any off the top of your head?

>society needs to change for one person

Snowflake culture. Dead serious. If you want a hard moral lesson like you guys are suggesting then might as well tell kids don't end up like that freak.

Way to miss the point friend.
The message of the episode is that what the world needs is just more people ready to accept others as who they are, people like Arnold ready to be friends, hence why Vincent wished to find another Arnold out there.

eugene

I don’t see how Pigeon Man is a bad guy just for having pigeons, or why society would care so much, Mike Tyson doesn’t get for his pigeons, and I don’t know, his coach and Dino would make progress than slide back, also Sid a lot,

Sid was just an awful character. He was a liar, a user, and a backstabber. Harold, Helga, and even fucking Rhonda got more development and comeuppance than he ever did.

Out of all the characters on that show, I wish Sid would have really suffered for all the mean-spirited, petty bullshit he put other characters through.

/thread

eh bad example, monkeyman whats not only fitting in but being succesfull, he only wanted to have a normal life.

Sid is such a fucking faggot. Is not Monkeyman's job to look after some retard that goes at night with expensive shit.

>Why didn't Arnold get Pigeonman to self-improve so he could fit into society?
At that point it'd be pointless masturbation to try to force him to change when he's clearly not interested. Arnold doesn't really have the right to force him to be someone he doesn't want to be.

>nofap
Why include this? Was there a deleted scene where Pigeon Man reveals he literally cannot stop jerkin it?
>NEET
Can't live on the dole if you withdraw from society, user.

Methinks the OP is projecting.

>and even fucking Rhonda
even FUCKING CURLY.

One day I will aquire a cabin out in the woods somewhere and live out the rest of my days in peace.

He should have just learned to be confident.

I don't blame for not being confident with society.

he should've just been himself amirite

confidence doesn't help if he knows people are crap

Every attempt to help Eugene. He doesn't 'fix' chocolate boy either, just adds some variety to his diet, while good, doesn't really change him much.

Pigeon Man didn't need to be fixed, and while he still doesn't want into society, he still got some much needed compassion and concern, something he hadn't experienced from another human in a long time.

Arnold is not very formulaic at all, you've made a mold of what you think it is and you're trying to cram each episode through there. Not sure why.

And like, not every episode has him helping people, sometimes he just wants a perfect Saturday or wants to avoid being stuffed into a trash can or get to a play
