Yeah Combiner Wars, the Windblade issues and the extras like that Optimus crime episode are fucking great imo. Generally the Cybertronian stuff I think. The Earth arc is actually good too but it drags on too much. Compare the lenght of this mission to that of the Combiner Wars story or the mini series like Windblade and Drift and such or basically any mtmte arc. All other stories can tell such an adventure in the course of five comic volumes and I guess RiD will need the whole second half of the series, so ~25 issues or something.
I am really interested in Soundwave as the new Decepticon leader and his goal though. As said I generally like the content, all of it.

So like every day in my life then I hate it too, OP. Almost everything feels like a chore, even just filling a damn paper with a few lines or going to buy a thing. Not sure what had happened in my teens that caused this. The only thing I am capable of doing is reading and watching stuff.

How come in stories like this whenever they find another race that can live for millions of years the goal doesn't suddenly become "hey how do we get that"

If you know a story that does feel free to say so so I don't remain ignorant

I can't really argue with the complaints about the Torchbearers color scheme. Yes, those are the colors fans voted on, but why not make the red the primary, with the green as the accent? It just makes them look more like they should be called the Christmabots
