I love this guy's stuff because he's a white dude and he, and I'm being serious here, draws these comics for free.

Would make more sense if it were related to a mental illness instead of obesity. It's a documented fact that doctors give less of a shit about patients with a history of mental health disorders.

SEETHING Yas Forumsfags will never get over people not caring or liking their weight.

Also the entire health concern argument is debunked by the fact that skinny people are almost just as likely to have bad diets and the associated health problems (blockages arteries, malnutrition) but nobody cares about their health problems because they are skinny.

Every comic is about projecting insecurities, some do it better than others pic unrelated

>It's a documented fact that doctors give less of a shit about patients with a history of mental health disorders.

I can see this though.

It sounds kind of cruel, but there's only so many times you can tell a schizo to take their meds before you realize you're talking to a brickwall.

Why do sois always pretend to know what women think

Holy shit I can smell the obesity through the screen.

ch-check your thin privilege?

>b-b-but the super obese have worse health problems (I aM nOt MoViNg ThE gOaLpOsT fRoM mErElY fAt To ExTrEmLy ObEsE)

Yeah okay well compare the health problems of extremely obese with extremely underweight. Extremely underweight is almost worse.

It's not about insecurities, it's about doctors focusing on the patient's weight when they come in with unrelated health concerns, a persistent problem in healthcare

people don't actually like beer lol

>nobody cares about their problems because they're skinny
ah, so people show more concern towards fat people for their health problems, while skinny people are ignored and left in the dust.

he thicc

Those unrelated health concerns are probably very much related to your fat ass.

I had high blood pressure and took meds.

I dropped 15 pounds and I went off it.

Literally me.

That's cool for high blood pressure, not as cool for undiagnosed lung cancer.

being more fat usually means you have more insulin resistance. higher insulin resistance is associated with more disease.

Yeah; the problem is treating the person who finally realizes they need help the same as Screwball Susan and her enabling family who've spent the last 10 years being absolute menaces.

gotta love this Health At Every Size propaganda

i was gonna defend this
but then you showed me these

I read that it's actually really difficult for doctors to perform surgeries when the patient is obese.

Being fat is bad for your health.

t. fat guy who needs to get in shape

If being fat wasn't something to be ashamed of he would've drawn himself fat instead of trying to pretend he was still skinny and desirable.

Don't you think the stats might be thrown off a little if there's a correlation between fat-insulin resistance-more disease, if we have known cases where doctors aren't listening to fat patients about their disease symptoms, and assuming it's because the patient is fat? You'd expect to see a correlation with disease.
>If things are happening that don't advance my perspective, those events are propaganda

I have seen few comics exude such energy of an idiot.

i've been having a lot more sex afyer getting into shape, but nah that can't be related

HEALTHY.

To even suggest otherwise is just fat-phobia.

Your arm fell off because you’re a fat piece of shit you stupid cunt.

Makes sense.
Gyms are full of gay men.

Not what I said. That person's clearly unhealthy. I said fat people are getting biased medical care.

her fat tissue and high blood glucose accumulated and clogged at the shoulder joint, dismembering her arm.

>That person's clearly unhealthy.

And you assume that because...?

Crumb is the greatest of all time, everything derivative of him is shit though. Also not even all his comics are about projecting insecurities, most are about satirizing culture and society.

"Biased"

Because being fat complicates a person's medical situation.

Ams telling her to go on a diet is going to reattach if?

Did he admit to being a pedo?

Because she's massively obese. But if that woman had an unrelated health issue, and the doctor said "Lose weight, LOL", instead of running the proper tests, which happens all the time, then we have a problem because that's not going to solve her other health issue.

Being fat doesn't stop you from being a dumbass, sorry.

Obesity is objectively a sign of poor health. Being obese makes other medical problems worse.

You could just admit you didn't get the comic's joke, man.

I can guarantee you almost any issue she has isn't "unrelated" to her weight.

Has the fat fuck considered that their arm falling off was a complication of their morbid obesity?

Being fat does stop you from being healthy. Being fat does make it harder for doctors to help you. Being fat does make you drain on the economy and health care system.

>b-b-but the super obese have worse health problems (I aM nOt MoViNg ThE gOaLpOsT fRoM mErElY fAt To ExTrEmLy ObEsE)

Yeah okay well compare the health problems of extremely obese with extremely underweight. Extremely underweight is almost worse.

You can't just say "It makes it worse" like that makes not diagnosing a disease okay. That's literally one of the cores of a doctor's job.

You could just admit that being fat is objectively bad for your health.

How can you guarantee if that woman had say, lupus, it would be related to her weight?

>the obese are so disconnected with the concept of health itself that they were unable to come up with a legitimate health issue and came up with "popped-off arm"

cdc.gov/healthyweight/effects/index.html

But go ahead and be in denial that being fat is a sign of poor health and makes your life worse.

This is objective fact, not opinion.

I already did that though. It's a distraction. You're trying to deflect from the issue of doctors giving poorer medical care to fat patients, a well-documented phenomenon, relating from things like diagnosis to bedside manner.

>Being fat does stop you from being healthy
No. >inb4 you post some 600 pound lady and pretend that is regular fat
>Being fat does make it harder for doctors to help you.
The image in the OP points out how sometimes it is completely unrelated.
>Being fat does make you drain on the economy and health care system.
Smoking, drinking and drug abusers are worse.

I want to say I'm surprised so many people fell for this, but I'm not.
