I can't believe they actually put this movie in theaters for people to pay to see

Release the snyder cut?

worst part is that it only flopped due to the budget

Yup!
I mean, at this point, just wait for him to finish it. But the Snyder Cut should be released now.

I like the battle in the begging. Like I would have rather watch that war for the full length of the movie.

I hope they release the Snyder Cut, then JL 2 and 3 as animated movies if the first one is good

No it flopped because it was fucking awful.

You could pump a billion into it, and it would flop, no ammount of money can cake up for poor writing, directing and acting.

He's saying that the outrageous sums spent on the budget kept it from being a moderate success.
DCfriends console themselves with "multipliers" of the budget and try to ignore where the bar has been set for major studio superhero films.

Did that with Man of Steel today. Not as bad, but I'd still change the channel if it was on.

I don't get why you guys think that's even a possibility. The post-production on the Snyder cut is obviously unfinished, releasing it as is would make WB look ridiculous, and pumping more money into this movie would too. It's literally never happening.

This.
I mean, it was smoking hot cum-filled garbage.
Unfortunately, just following suit of the movies that preceded it.
Really nothing that could be done.
All the while, Marvel was pumping out cinematic masterpieces that will be remembered for all time.
I'm not even a Marvel fan, even so, in the last couple years, I had to dump my subscription to Batman and Superman.

>Marvel was pumping out cinematic masterpieces that will be remembered for all time.
>I’m not even a Marvel fan
Kek, nice try. Only a Marvel fan would be that delusional

B-b-but Snyder's vision! B-b-but bowing to the will of the fans!

I honestly can’t tell if this is someone making fun of Marvel fans, or if it’s legit

That's why it's called the Tard Cut

Superman was the biggest reason for the DCEU's failures. Imagine having all these cool characters, but ultimately they just sit around praying the messiah comes saves them instead of having Batman be brilliant, WW and the rest being badass. Nope. Superman come save us because you were born on Krypton with too many superpowers to count.

IKR, it was as bad as a Marvel movie, just embarrassing

Let's be honest about this, if you are capable.
I watched Iron Man (2008) just the other night,
During prime time on FX or some similar channel.
The last time JL or Batman v Superman played,
It was 3 am on a local fuck-off station.

It wasn't indignantly bad, just boring and forgettable.
Which is worse.

Even thor 2 was better than jl

It's deeper than that. The Snyder cut is an impossibility because Snyder's concept was that Justice League was a two part movie, where Superman was resurrected but evil in the first half, and Batman dies in the second.

People going "#Release the Snyder cut!" are asking for essentially one and a half to two entirely new and different movies to be made for them. New and entirely different movies that still sound pretty awful.

Bros, is the DCEU dead?

Justice League was doomed because of the foundation it was built on. MoS wasn't meant to kickstart a series, and BvS was a shitshow that thought it would be a good idea to cram Death of Superman the last 20 mins of the second installment. Justice League is a shitshow because over half the plot is devoted to bringing Superman back from the dead so he can fix the problem. Superman shouldn't make the main villain look like a joke all by himself. I love Superman, but the entire point of the Justice League concept is to tackle problems no one hero can handle alone. This really did no favors for Clark, and reinforces the stupid casual meme of "hurr durr Supes is OP!".

But ignoring all that, they used Steppenwolf as the villain. STEPPENWOLF. Nobody cares about this guy, not even hardcore New Gods/Kirby fans. Snyder literally flipped through some New 52 books without context and thought he looked cool, then proceeded to make him a bland demon alien thing.

I still haven't even seen Batman vs Superman, been rather busy this past couple of years. Given all the shit I saw on here back then to now it wasn't that great I take it. Man of steel was the same way
>STOP, MY INVINCIBLE SON threads ad infinitum

It's 3 hours of a director fundamentally not understanding these characters, and shoving Death of Superman and Wonder Woman in the last 20 mins/final fight. The only and I mean ONLY thing worth watching in this film is perhaps Batman fighting mercenaries inside a warehouse

Every one knows this.
DCEU fan here.
It looks like it, super-bro.
Unfortunately, looks like it will drag the dead corpse of DC with it.
As I stated earlier, only time you are able to see JL or SvB on tv,
Is late at night on off-station.
There weren't even commercials,
Just two breaks for boomer vitamin infomercial.

It's just poor decision after poor decision to be honest, which is such a shame

>Cyborg instead of Martian Manhunter, for some reason
>Superman can't have a full beard apparently, so let's awkwardly photoshop out his moustache
>Steppenwolf's only decent line is an off comment about how the old gods are dead, and his recognition of Kryptonians

Bah, wasted potential.

Superman fags will never recover from Thor having a greater entrance than Superman

What's with this obsession with Snyder and thinking his cut of the movie would be any better, the man's a hack that only gets works because his wife is a producer
Let's look at Army of the Dead, wrapped last year slated to release late this year, directed by Zack Snyder and oh who is the producer? His wife

Above: truth. Below: horse shit.
>All the while, Marvel was pumping out cinematic masterpieces that will be remembered for all time.
