Who was in the wrong here?
Who was in the wrong here?
Mona for abandoning her family in the pursuit of a foolish rebellion against “the man”. Sounds like she was a bit of a whore too.
she was a demon in the sack though
Hippies are by definition scum
Mona. But again. Women are traitorous and liars by nature.
Mona 110%, her death episode makes it even worse
A father abandoning his family is a scumbag
A mother abandoning her family is unforgivable
The postman who witheld decades worth of mail out of spite
He could have done a lot worse
>A mother abandoning her family chasing hippie ideals is unforgivable
fixed for you
Shouldn’t both of them be unforgivable scumbags?
Considering that she abandoned her family to follow a movement that literally proclaimed itself dead before 1970 and continued to follow that movement despite it, Mona. "Hippies" after 1969 were just wannabe trend-followers.
mona. I mean seriously, she could divorce abe like any normal couple, also what said
Abe is kind of an asshole, but he did not abandon Homer and also was in his son's life, even if Homer did not want him.
This. Abe's got many faults, but he's basically always been around to support his son and his family. He sold his fucking home of 30 years so his son could raise his children in a house instead of an apartment.
I mean I think if my mother abandoned my family for stupid reasons it'd be unforgivable, but my father's side of the family is made up of stupid angry hicks so I completely understand her leaving.
Abortion should be a woman's choice. If you have a penis, just shut the fuck up.
But if they do decide to have it, I don't think the man should pay. If you have the right to kill it, I should at least be able to abandon the fucker.
Mona didn’t do anything dumber than Abe or Homer has ever done, only problem is she got caught. She didn’t abandon Homer, she would have been sent to jail anyway
Walking out on your family and going to jail are two completely different things.
Destruction of property would have gotten her a year in jail... max. Instead she spent 40ish years living on the run.
fpbp
didn't she become the grim reaper?
Actually, this was her sabotaging a germ warfare thing, so she could have gotten a lot more than just a year
Mona, Abe may be a shitty person but he never left his son. There are episodes that show Abe could have achieved his own personal goals and happiness if he gave up Homer but he abandoned all of them to take care of his son.
Mona, despite having an small kid like homer, still went on extremely risky, illegal operations against "le evil gubmint".
She knew what she was doing, knew that she could be sent to prison, and still did it. So it's her fault for abandoning her family.
Didn't she only become a hippy because Abe was neglectful of her? Been forever since I watched it.
No, she became a hippie because she saw some sport dude with a wild-ass hair on the TV and decided that was worth putting her son's well being in jeopardy
t. nigger
Don’t act like Abe never did shady shit
A little, she was always a free spirit, the hippies just inspired her
>Don’t act like Abe never did shady shit
Abe deserves everything bad for being an Irish immigrant.
Assuming of course that the flashback of him being a little irish immigrant kid who spent the first few weeks in the nose of the statue of liberty holds somewhat true in the fluid ever-changing pseudo-canon of The Simpsons.
