They're both injured, chained and in a separate tent which I would assume is under watch and could be bugged or sabotaged with Pymary. It's not Hannibal Lecter tier but for a mobile camp it's not bad.

They let the prisoners be near each other and there's tools available, that in itself is bad procedure

But here's where the fiction differs from real life - they have no obligation to let the prisoners go after interrogation unlike our world. They can use any trick they want as many times as they want so long as it yields results because they will execute the prisoners unlike our world.

I believe the implication is the smack upside the head at the end of the last page knocked her out, she had the flashback dream, then woke up again.

Female soldiers/cops is also dumb, but Cresce is a fantasy land where 99% of the problems with female soldiers/cops can be solved by teaching them magic. For all we know, Crescian Tittyplate is actually a clever pymaric to redirect the force of a stab to the cleavage to the deliverer's face.
