Doesn't help that the majority of people who bring up the STR unironically seem to think it's completely invincible, when the actual comic itself shows us that that's definitely not the case. Mandrakk was WINNING in their fight. He only lost because he got distracted by being reminded of what he once was, and even then that took forcing him to fall into the Overvoid to get subsumed and deleted, at which point the Thought Robot was so irreversibly damaged and weakened from the ordeal that it couldnt function anymore. Not to mention that Mandrakk was later confirmed to have survived.
The idea that the Thought Robot is completely infallible and unbeatable is a fallacy that is never even remotely supported in the canon.
