>How does this work?

>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.

>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

Last time:

-The 6 characters chart continues
-We talked a lot about Six Feet Thunder and the Motion plot
-Some Yas Forumsle editing
-New pics
-Other stuff I didn't mention

Cats sitting on character's heads drooping their paws down, will never not be adorable

I wonder if Sundays actually are any more active than other days.

Either not all of those are /coc/ or they're the deepest cuts in a long time.

I see Old Man Henderson down there, and the gasmask with the exhaust pipes is Steam John, one of my non-coc characters. This is appreciably old.

I have many things from over the years.

Sorry for the radio silence, cole guy. Had a bitch of a test I needed to study up on. And they had us take it late at night so my sleeps all fucked. Now it looks like my internet is dipping in and out again. But I am reading through he proposed changes rn, and comparing them to the old bit. Just need a little time.

I figured it was something like that.
There's no rush, especially if you have real life stuff happening.

I think it's helped it survive through the Saturday grind without becoming a zombie thread on the weekdays

You mean starting it on Sundays?

I don't know why this board feels as strange as it does on Saturdays.

>cant stop having ideas
>i done a few universes of my own
>cant even draw a straight line or a circle

Dump em. Maybe something will spark interest.

Things that aren't re-posted often are usually not re-posted often because they failed to capture interest.
Like the Un-Italian Mafia with their Mime rivals.

There was a time where the designs of Six Feet Thunder and Indra got mixed up.

They seem to be.
Also. I THINK I've realized what Lustbane kind of looks like.
Take Astolfo from Fate. Now make him blond, make his ponytail braided, put him in regular clothing, and give him a constant Kubrick stare and slight snarl.
However, I can't draw animeface or a remotely good body for shit, soooo.... That's a thing

I can see why. They look like twins. I also love how we're talking about SFT here, because he's awesome

>Take Astolfo from Fate. Now make him blond, make his ponytail braided
Aw yeah cool, a bit like Rudy's sister Hayleigh but as a boy
>put him in regular clothing
Ahhhhh you lost me

That's kind of the point. It's contrast.
The only drawings I've done of him are kind of trash, though.
I try to give off the impression that he's got a Kiryu Kazuma-tier glare

Compare to this.

The colors and powers are the sameish, but SFT's design is more streamlined than Indra's.

I have to wonder how Thundershock and Indra felt about having costumes with similar colors as well as both having Thunder in their names. Was one a response to the other?

No, this is just as slow.

Got a point there.
One being a response to the other? Probably. I mean, lightning heroes seem to have similar themes

Fucking lord, I can never get over the endless amounts of creativity you people have.
Why can't Marvel or DC be more like this?

Because they are bound to their characters.

Just last thread we were discussing how Six Feet Thunder would have to die at the end of the Chicago Super Gang Wars. That's an end to a character. The big two can't ever end their characters because they don't know how to make new ones anymore.

Sometimes I find myself thinking if we need "lore" or "plot" pages on the wiki.
Pages that just give something like a summary of any of the huge overarching story ideas that have been kicked around for years on end.
Though I rarely implement those sorts of pages, instead I just end up incorporating it into the relevant characters.

I still wonder if stuff like that is necessary though.

Ah. That makes sense. Doing it for the art?

Eh. It’s an okay start. I can see some potential there

Prioritize the circles. Circles are the best way to get readers' attention.

Circles make the world go round.

Art, story, but primarily things only get done or started if someone gets some amusement out of doing it.
It's an entire setting built upon nothing but passion projects, so it's no wonder why there's not too many finished or even half-finished actual stories in it.
