I'm almost half-way through Glitch Techs and I'm kinda underwhelmed. Is there some point it gets good or am I better off dropping it?
Glitch Techs
If you're not wowed by the visuals or easily amused by video game references, it's okay to drop it. I liked it enough to finish, but writing-wise this show is admittedly nothing special.
I'd say try again when the whole season comes out. If the 7th ep doesn't hold your attention you won't like it.
Miko's massive ass
>Is there some point it gets good
There isn't, the show enjoys attention on Yas Forums solely because it has a character with nice ass, that's it. This phenomenon is also responsible for KO (Enid for example) and Steven Universe's (Garnet for example) "popularity" as well. Now, this phenomenon isn't necessarily a bad thing, if like big asses you're sure to enjoy these shows but if storytelling matters more, you're better off dropping it and keeping up with the animated character's booties with Yas Forums threads that are dedicated to them.
It's a pretty big ass.
You're here for underage girl so
Plot also needs to be thicc?
it's a waifu show that isn't also well written. in a year of waifu shows there's better alternatives.
>Inb4 muh owl house amphibia are good
Lol no
Amphibia is decent.
i meant cleopatra and kipo...
If you don't like it, that's okay. My favorite was episode 6 or something, whichever one was that Castlevania episode. I like the action first; the story is tolerable.
A successful cartoon needs two things these days: a thicc plot and a thicc girl.
Generic as fuck cartoon, just accept you only care about that girl's huge ass
If you're halfway through, I say see it through. Epsisode 8 is pretty good. If lore and stuff is more your deal, it seems they may have saved that stuff for the second half of the season, so you could always wait till then if you're really not feeling it.
Anons were hyped too much. I expected nothing special and I was pleasantly surprised. I especially liked the lack of unnessary character drama.
It's honestly just a classically fun show. Like watching Saturday morning cartoons when you were a kid.
You see what you get. It's just a episodic adventure series.
Hey, I like her personality
For the most part yeah. More lore is supposedly coming.
Honestly, I really don't get why people even enjoy this. I just don't...get it? It's like someone threw together the most zoomer thing possible and tried to make into something that really mattered. Maybe I'm just getting older.
Nothing wrong with not enjoying it user. Everyone has their own tastes and interests.
it's nothing special but it's fun I don't understand what people want or expected from this show
>Maybe I'm just getting older.
Maybe you are. Your preferences are likely to change with age a bit.
It's mostly because we aren't an actual hivemind, though. We like different things for different reasons. I too don't always get why some things are so popular with anons.
HUGE
Owl House is good. Same with Glitch Techs. Amphibia isn't.
Based edit
>the most zoomer thing possible
Really dude?
I'm old enough to have a kid in that generation and found it pretty enjoyable and relatable.
Many of the games parodied were from the 90s so I question your opinion.
Yeah, I'm not much of a gamer anymore and the show never made me feel out of my depth. Even when they use gaming lingo, it's the basic jargon that has been in use for decades now. Zoomer gamers (if they actually took a break from playing to watch this) would probably find this less than up-to-date with their shit, the show is clearly intended for a more general audience.
Regardless, the creators seem to knowledgeable about games and gaming, something that was rarely done well. Cartoons used to make actual grandpa references or show incorrect stuff like playing a platformer with a mouse - that never failed to make me groan.
