Honestly, if Robbie would just ignore Dipper instead of constantly pushing the kid's buttons and allowing himself to get his buttons pushed by the 12 yo. It would've ended up better for him.

I would have liked that. Or at least give Robbie a little more development. The Love God kind of tried to do that but not really.

They sort of address the fact that their age is sort of incompatible at this point. Honestly not a bad resolution.

That scene was still awkward as fuck. Robbie was kind of a basic douche, but he wasn't really willing to act on his aggressive thoughts, like with not punching Dipper in the fight episode. I think even Hirsch mentioned that Robbie genuinely didn't know that it was hypno-music, so it just made it a half-ass attempt at giving them a reason to break up.

It's never acknowledged in the episode if he really knew or not. Or if the hypnosis even worked on Wendy. It feels really contrived and weird.

We never got to see. It could've been a raising the dead type scenario, since he does live at a graveyard. Surprised they didn't do anything with his zombie shtick when he matched the book's description.
