Yeah, I feel they did a solid job making Darius look less evil and more committed to his sense of righteousness. Very good version as a contrast to Garen.
Mind you, Noxus is still running around with a reanimated corpse whose lower jaw is the crown of a rival nation's king. But this does do a solid job of showing them being beneficial to others.

My problem with League lore is that since it's a MOBA, you know it's going nowhere. I think the only times there was a sense of progression was when Gangplank turned into a fat dude and way before that, the CDR boots match

Ixtal is cool, got a mix of crazy people, monsters, and a magical city state that all live in harmony with eachother and kill anything that tries to enter.

The current season is total garbage, everything is decided by the mid and jungler, and the rest of the players are hostages.

I'm a jungle main (support secondary because I couldn't be a proper laner for the life of me) and I hate it. All my laners are begging for ganks at once and it's infuriating. I only play draft, I can't imagine what it's like in actual ranked.
That and I just hate Conqueror. Runes reforged have had some imbalances (Old Electrocute on assassins was something, dark harvest was ubiquitous) but I really hate that rune.

I like the idea and encourage more companies to consider it. They have the clout to push projects that couldn’t get made otherwise.
Probably the best chance to save Runeterra. More people will play the games if they care about the characters and offering a narrative that's accessible to a large demographic is the way to go.
