ITT: Completely wasted characters

Speaking of Star vs, what the fuck was the point if Doop Doop? This character has an entire episode named after him, yet they never actually do anything with it. He’s just there. Season 4 had a lot of moments like this, where things just happen.

Yes, a little anti-climatic to have him killed off because no one wants to build him further.

his whole point is that he's nothing more than a puppet for Wuya and to provide comedy relief. Remember how Wuya immediately ditched him for Raymundo since he's actually competent?

His ending was fine. Actually him getting a hole punched through his chest and then getting roasted alive so his flesh melted off his skeleton was frigging badass. Star smiling in her transformed state as she blasted him was delightfully creepy too. The problem was everything that came after him.

The entire Gem race of Steven Universe

It was just dark humor (Star abandoned this character to suffer in lonely isolation for years because he's annoying, lol). Then Star murders him but it's okay because he's not cute. The laser puppies just get depowered though because puppies are cute. The moral is: ugly things should die!

What other things do you find that has been wasted?

If she'd just looked more like this prospective design fanart it would have helped a lot but man the entire season was wasted potential
