How is clone wars what?
Shitty but there’s some good episodes I guess
Currently this season has 5 good episodes while the other 4 are dogshit sjw nigger dyke Ahsoka trash. They're not going to make the Boba vs Cad Bane episode, they're not making the Utapau episodes, and Disney cancelled TCW because it was better than Rebels so that's how Clone Wars is.
>Final 3 episodes will be a retelling of Revenge of the Sith
Can't wait lads.
today's episode was kino
Funfact: a lot of the actresses in SW are ex-IDF.
Need to know, should I skip the ashoka arc? Looks like shit.
Only the meaningless first half of it, which is basically filler until you get to the Mandolorian stuff.
Bo Katan literally shows up in the last 3 minutes.
Skip them
More OP Ashoka faggotry? No thanks.
I didn't say anything about Bo.
So do their blastors just not work? Is the twist that they had their weapons disabled or something, and that's why they literally just stand there pointing their guns at her and nothing happens?
>someone trained by Anakin is nearly as OP as him
You don't fucking say.
Not to spoil it for you, but the emperor dies at the end
That's just this entire season.
First arc had a bunch of clones standing in the middle of a long pipe with nowhere to go on either side and no way to manuver, and droids on both sides of the thing. Do they shoot? Ahaha no, they wait for them to talk it out. Rebels kiddy shit leaked into this.
>Mandolorian stuff.
Bo is a mandalorian retard and they don't appear until tue last 3 minutes of her gay arc.
Don't forget the Pikes recapturing the sisters after they were just about to execute them.
What are you saying?
Just like the pasta and I bet that orange pussy is tight.
What are you saying?
>here is your orange buttcheeks bro
She knows how to wield a meatsaber
I wish, seeing more battles from the clone perspective would have been great. Need a Stormtrooper show but we'll never get that because EMPIRE EBIL
>anakin didnt run to hug ahsoka when she came out of the ship
:_;
I'm actually impressed at how careful they are to not show Ashoka actually *killing* any of those adversaries. Go watch it again. She never slices any of them with a killing blow, even though it would have been easy and effective to do so. No. She slices their jet packs or their guns, or she kicks them. It is incredibly calculated PG action.
ok guys im gonna go watch the new episode don't let the thread die until im back
i think its just to have the cool effect of them flying off with their jetpacks. There's a seen in the show were she decapitates like 5 mandalorians at once.
sure thing, but only if you give us your thoughts on the episode and a greentext QRD. See you in 20.
>that was the last time they spoke as friends
I kinda wish we saw live action Ahsoka since she was going to be in RoTS based on early scripts.
Tunnels in TCW are always for ambushes yet they keep going in them. Saved you 20 minutes
Ok, time to fess up. I have been a long time fan of young Ashoka from The Clone Wars. I legit wanted to fuck her since season 3 or whenever she updated her look to the new costume. Even through she was more covered up she somehow looked hotter. And in this season i'm completely crushing on her. She looks amazing and totally wife her given half the chance.
I don't have the same feelings for her in Star Wars Rebels, she looks too stretched out and scrawny. And she behaves like a completely different character.
30 actually
She looks like she can suck a dick.
ahsoka in rebels is too elongated
her proportions in clone wars are much better
It's fucking garbage that served no useful purpose in the narrative and only exists to line Disney and Lucas' pockets
Star Wars should have ended with Revenge of the Sith.
I bet that one of the conditions Disney had for this season was that they weren't allowed to make it as gritty and dark as the previous season of CW was.
>Star Wars should have ended with Return of the Jedi
ftfy
Nah, the prequels actually serve a purpose since there's a lot unanswered questions from the original trilogy but everything made after them is basically pointless. We literally know exactly how the Clone Wars is going to end, what the purpose to making an entire series about it?
to show what actually went on from different point of views? the movies show the battle that starts the clone wars and then skips straight to the end
A massive improvement from that shitty sisters arc, however I was hoping the actual attack on Mandalore would've been on some D-Day level shit, as Mandalorians are a warrior race but I didn't really expect it out of a kid's show. I was hoping for a lot more from the Anakin/Ahsoka reunion. I'm also disappointed we don't get to see Grevious's new model for more than 2 seconds. Overall solid episode though.
Siege of mandalore was a great episode. There is actually material even some unfinished episodes for a whole season (22) episodes.
The Dark Disciple with Asajj Ventress and Quinlan Vos was envisioned for 8 episodes for example.
Why does she look like a cunt now? Why are they ruining every fucking thing
It will never, EVER be as good as Genndy wars
I would kill all of you if it would convince bald asajj to slob on my knob
Clone wars has definitely enhanced my experience with prequels. Take General Grievous for instance. A literal who, who only has a role because he looks cool in RotS.
one of the shittier parts of the prequels imo. the first scene of the trilogy should have shown how the war started or just opened while the clone wars were ongoing, same as how the original trilogy opened when the civil war had already been happening for years. the innocent character gets swept into conflict.
remember when mandalorians were supposed to be badass?
>dogshit sjw nigger dyke Ahsoka
Wtf she's lesbian now? I didn't watch the last season.
It does feel like the first two arcs were not created "in house" as if it was the b-team with disney oversight creating some clone wars fast food while Dave Filoni was cooking up this arc with all the ressources and concentration focussed on the siege to create a farewell to be remembered
so grievous killed shaak ti, right?
like in the deleted scene from episode III
Why are Mandalorians weak little twinks?
because asshoka needs to win
they are against non-jedi
she dies three times
Wow I understood that reference!
by grievous, by anakin and what's the third one?
oh shit i didnt know that was kanan
How many of those books have you read?
he's there for like 1 millisec and doesn't even look like him
>R2 uses his magnetic legs to stick to metal bridge just like he has in the past
>wow i don't think we've seen this before, this must be a new ability!
Fuck me, are Star Wars "fans" this fucking dumb? I swear every since Disney took over, it introduced a huge wave of idiots to the franchise.
i love ahsoka so much bros
i would actually love to see a movie/s about all the shit palpatine and his master did to start the clone wars
Mostly shit but with okay episodes and even some great stuff from time to time.
Read Darth Plagueis.
we will never see a movie about darth plagueis user...
dooku is dead, qui gon is old, and they will retcon darth tenebrous
starkiller in one of the force unleashed games. She doesn't deserve to die though
i remember when jedis werent OP as fuck
Mediocre series with some decent episodes from time to time. I think people are overracting this last episode way too much.
>entire action packed episode
>only thing he can take from is it r2 spiderman
nigga please
i'm just happy that the fun begun
i really hated those episodes about the woke sisters
??????
Pretty great on the whole, some arcs are amazing some of them are shit.
Aayla is for...
To be fair, I think the only restriction is that they can't slice people up with sabers, anything else is fair game. Even though Ahsoka slices their jets, it doesn't change the fact that they fall to their death or how some of them fly off and explode.
>Filoni we can make the final season but we only have a limited amount of episodes
>lets give Ashoka a useless 4 episode long spice plot
the bad batch arc wasn't any better
at least the spic arc led to the current one, but only at the end and definitely could have been done without wasting 4 fucking episodes on it
this whole season has sucked except for todays episode
Very good.
I'd say the entire series is worth watching, but there are lame ducks. Particularly in the earlier seasons. It really does get stronger as it goes. Season 3 and on are pretty much patrician, some weird quality drop-offs here and there but it really does just ramp up and almost never let off.
I feel like early on they were all too aware it was a kid's show, but as the audience grew up, the show did as well. George also made this show at cost towards the end.
>Slices the jetpack
What is this rebels shit? Fucking season 1 was more brutal jesus christ.
except the part where one of them explodes. or is that not supposed to be what it looks like? because it looks like one of them explodes
Just shoot her?
that's the difference between non-disney SW and disney SW
>Luke, did i ever tell you about Ahsoka Tano? She was your father's exotic teenage alien apprentice, a fine piece of jailbait from a more civilized age.
>She had the tigherst body and the perkiest little breasts in the galaxy; barely legal in most systems.
>Anakin and I used to doubleteam her at the end of every successful campaign during the Clone Wars and once in a while we'd have the whole 501st run a >train over her, part of official Jedi "training" of course.
>In time, she learned how to handle a meatsaber better than anyone in the Jedi Temple. She wore a miniskirt every day so we told her there were no panties in space, and since she was constantly doing acrobatics you'd get a glimpse of her orange pussy mid flights as she'd do a flip while slicing a B2 Super Battledroid in half. It was surreal.
>We taught her to grip her weapon backwards like a dildo and she constantly got captured by pirates and slavers almost every other day. It was ridiculous, like a constant porno Luke, you have no idea.
>And she was a good friend.
Wtf nobody dies in Clone Wars anymore?
I like how Rebels and this new season basically shows us Season 1 was not that as bad as people like to push it.
Blasters and explosives are still fair game
Theyre literally just going for the cool "enemy spirals out into space and blows up" effect, as anybody would want to do for a scene where anemies are being tossed out of moving spaceships. Of course characters still die in Clone Wars you spastics.
People died in Rebels. Even by lightsaber.
>when the kino hits
>movies are grounded in reality and Jedi are mortal
>tv shows they are basically super heros that can jump hundreds of feet and kill enemies like it's fucking Dynasty Warriors
shit sucks. wake me up when we get a Clone Wars adaption that wasn't created by a festering manchild high on Monster Energy Drinks
>Good man that Cody
The thing here is that Ahsoka out of all people is the one pulling out these. At least in Genndy's Clone Wars everyone was on a similar level.
Season 1 had plenty of gruesome deaths that get overlooked because people for some reason like to generalize that season as kiddy
>People suffocating in the vacuum of space from the droids cutting open the lifepods during the Malevolence Arc
>Cutup getting eaten alive by a space eel during Rookies
>Clones falling into a pit of lava in Grievous' lair
>Anakin, Obi-wan, and Dooku getting tortured by Hondo
>Clones getting clubbed and speared Zulu style during the Pantora episode
>Some 212th Clones got eaten by beasts during the Ryloth invasion
what do you mean ahsoka "of all people"? a jedi that was trained by the chosen one?
Still isn't as bad as Genndy's Clone Wars where Mace Windu punched 1 million battle droids to death with his fists
She's still fucking 17 my dude.
>wrist mounted shields
what is this, fucking Halo?
throughout the entirety of the series, if she exists in an episode, she will do something integral that should have been reserved for someone like Obi-Wan and Anakin. I guess she's the protagonist but even shounen jump protags don't get that many wins in literally everything their shown.
early seasons had tons of clones and living soldiers die in really horrific ways. I still wonder how they got around it.
>HURR DIDNEY NEVER SHOW LIGHTSABER OR BLASTAH WOUNDS
Really wish this myth would die. You post one clip of blasters being cut, or a character surviving being shot, and everyone loses their minds. Half of the time they're filmed exactly like the movies, like when Maul slices 6th brother in half in Rebels.
Sorry for shite quality, just grabbed the first 4 things i thought of from Youtube
There's literally nothing wrong with this, and we've seen Anakin and Windu do very similar acrobatic feats jumping from speeders and shit within the same show.
Yeah, the "kiddy show" stigma just came from Star Wars moving to non-live action at all. The Clone Wars has violence that's pretty much on par with the movies, and I'd argue that at its most brutal, TCW surpasses live action (except for the Mustafar burning scene in 3)
so?
This dumb broad never even showed up in the movies so she's literally not canon.
RIP my boy Gar Saxon
how can you still defend rebels
She was created by George Lucas, and she's actually in 9 voiced and credited, though I don't consider 9 canon so...
you mean like when anakin jumped out of a speeder and fell hundreds of feet on top of another speeder in episode 2?
>we've seen two of the most powerful Jedi of all time pull stunts like this, therefore anyone can do it
Rebels is actually solid. It's like the OT, but spread out into 4 seasons. Same spirit and charm, and it has REALLY strong highs, such as Twilight of the Apprentice and Old Wounds, and everything with Thrawn.
Resistance is complete and utter garbage though.
and he was like 17yo too
>Ahsoka is "anyone"
She's force jumping and doing light acrobatics against enemies who don't have lightsabers or force sensitivity.
Literally what is the issue here?
Considering she never finished her training, yeah.
the person you are complaining about is trained by one of those
actually, she is anyone
she's just a regular jedi that left with her training incomplete
Dave Furfagotry is turning her into a Rey 2.0 isn't it?
>solid
its for fucking 7 year olds
Neither did Obi-wan when he cut a Sith Lord in half.
She was assigned to Anakin, the most powerful Jedi ever, specifically because she was powerful and unruly like him.
Just skip to the lastest episode of this season aka episode 9. The first 4 were ok if you're invested in the show, the next 4 were hot garbage.
yes just ignore the fact that she's shown failing probably a hundred times in the show and had to learn harsh lesson after lesson over the course of her training
something rey was never shown doing and never did
>She was assigned to Anakin, the most powerful Jedi ever, specifically because she was powerful and unruly like him.
so the retards in the council gave her a master just as unstable emotionally as her instead of giving her a calm, patient master like they did for anakin? thats just dumb OC deviant art shit
>[
Adults watching this garbage is exactly why Star Wars has no chance of being good.
You are consuming shit made for children and encouraging them to make more of it.
>by the chosen one?
Rey?
you'll complain about anything won't you
oh because obi wan was so powerful and so wise, that's why they let him train anakin, right?
what kind of shitty argument is that?
Remember when Jango had two guns ha ha?
>mfw Obi-Wan barely appears this season because he's literally the only OT main character Disney hasn't managed to ruin, and Filoni is petrified of having him be prominent enough for them to notice
he has as much screen time as anakin
Ahsoka loses literally every single lightsaber battle against a force sensitive in the show. Every single one. Ventress, Barriss, she only ever beat that bounty hunter who stole a lightsaber and impersonated Jocasta Nu.
The first time she beats a force sensitive in combat is against an Inquisitor after the Clone Wars ends.
She is the farthest fucking thing from Rey. All she ever did for half of her episodes in the show was fuck up and get scolded by Anakin, until slowly she started to become enough like him to competantly hold her own.
Filoni throws him under the bus himself by having Ahsoka lecture him on what's right and wrong in this episode.
It doesn't really make sense as a greentext the way you did it, but still, based.
Looking good. It has always bothered me how they decided to give him a black sclera for whatever reasons.
The 3D models are really nice (better than the crap they made on SW Rebels) but the animation is a bit weird, perhaps it's the mocap and the facial capture.
didn't jango have fancier looking blasters? why do all these mooks have bricks with handles?
>so the retards in the council gave her a master just as unstable emotionally as her instead of giving her a calm, patient master like they did for anakin? thats just dumb OC deviant art shit
Yes, and not for her sake. Yoda chose Anakin because he wanted to teach Anakin about accepting letting go of attatchments. Obviously it didn't work out, but to be fair it almost did. You can see Anakin breaking down in Season 3 over Ahsoka being in danger, but by Season 4/5 he was learning to trust her more and let her go after she makes her own decisions.
Of courese, this completely backfires, because her final decision to leave was because of the council themselves, which caused the huge emotional and trust barrier between them towards the end of the war, and him turning his back on them to try protect Padmé.
no, Kathleen
>jango
>a bounty hunter
>can hire someone to make his own weapon
I really don't care mate. I'll watch whatever I want, I'm not forcing myself to not watch something I'm interested in. Especially not because you told me to.
Why is she in the Siege of Mandalore? It makes no sense to have her fight Maul.
TOP KEK
she is actually more cruel and evil, she sends them hurdling down planetside most likely breaking bones if not dying on impact, to spend days to die from exposure.
Tartakovsky's show was better. That said it's nice that they're using some of his stuff in this final storyline.
Anakin stabs an unarmed alien through the heart in episode 4 of this season.
how was the original siege of mandalore?
it was created before or after episode III?
i don't know how something that big didn't get mentioned in the movie
Based?
I don't think they used mocap and facial capture. That's why we got ps2 era animations.
It’s a show creation
did you watch the episode? maul intended to bait obi wan there, not ahsoka
ahsoka is there because at the end of the last episode the mandalorians approach her saying they know where maul is, which prompts her/them to approach the republic for help. anakin and obi wan would have been there too if not for grievious attacking coruscant
test
Bo Katan followed her and asked for help. Ahsoka isn't (wasn't?) part of the Jedi anymore, and Bo Katan is a wanted terrorist, and the Republic's relations with Mandalore and a possible occupation has been a complicated recurring issue for the show since season 2.
Ultimately, she is a fully trained Jedi at this point, why turn down help when the war is stretched so thin and the possible Sith Lord responsible for the war is there. (Remember Anakin and Obi-Wan get called away because of the invasion on Coruscant, Ahsoka staying to finish the fight with Bo)
This IS the original Seige of Mandalore, it was created after Episode 3. Lots of big things arent mentioned in the movies. The Clone Wars had hundreds of battles, and they only show like 6 in the movie, of course big stuff was happening off screen.
test failed
>error code 2556883
then it doesn't matter that ahsoka is there
obi-wan and anakin needs to be in the battle of coruscant
the other masters are in their respective missions and i don't think obi-wan had the time to inform the council about this "war"
none of the capable jedi can be there instead
>did you watch the episode? maul intended to bait obi wan there, not ahsoka
I know but I'm talking about the story, I'm talking in terms of writing. They've turned TCW into The Ahsoka Wars.
They're using mocap for some of the animations.
Can someone give me a recap of the last 4 episodes? They look retarded and episode filler but I don't want to miss some key plot.
>fully trained Jedi
i don't think that's true
>I'm talking about the story
shit, I meant "I'm not talking about the story"
>Bo Katan followed her and asked for help.
oh ok. I didn't watch the previous episodes, I didn't care about the Tumblr sisters.
It's the finale of the show user. It started with her, it ends with her.
The finale of the show for Anakin and Obi-Wan is called Revenge of the Sith. It's pretty good, you should check it out too.
normal people are skeptical of the jedi
bo katan follows and meets ahsoka and convinces her to join them to find maul and help mandalore
you didn't miss anything, user
it was pure crap right until the end
kek
Lmao will star wars soys ever stop coping? This is sad. Not only do they watch a children's show, theyll try to justify it as good
>They've turned TCW into The Ahsoka Wars.
as it should be
>Disney giving Filoni a blank cheque the episode
Pretty kino
animate rifleman? nah mutha fucken duelies tiem
>It's the finale of the show user. It started with her, it ends with her.
To me her story ended after she left the Order. Filoni has made a huge mistake by refusing to let her go. He ruined the unique opportunity of a perfect send off (the fight between Vader and her in SW Rebels) and brought the time poral deus ex machina (it's as bad as the Holdo maneuver).
Dave, pls.
Ahsoka see what a normal life and family is like when she meets two sisters living underground on Coruscant
She sees how lots of normies distrusted the Jedi for their own valid reasons, validating her decision to leave
But turns out one of the sisters is buying spice from the Pykes slave systems on Kessel. While trying to stop this, Bo Katan, likely investigating the Pykes due to their connections to Maul and Crimson Dawn, finds Ahsoka and convinces her to return to help fight Maul. Ahsoka gives up her "normal" life.
Not using the TCW opening was a mistake though.
>brought the time poral deus ex machina (it's as bad as the Holdo maneuver).
It's really not. It wasnt even real time travel, and she was always alive after her fight with Vader as you see in the episode.
nobody said is good though
i'm sure you watch some shit nobody but you finds good
Why are anti-Ahsoka faggots so gay?
They need to try jerking off to her, its great
It's another case of the inverse ninja law.
ahsoka kicks an alien in the balls and its hawt
Dave already ruined Obi-Wan since season 4. Seriously, the guy got kept getting his ass kicked and kept having someone else save him, all because the "fans" kept complaining that he hardly got scratched. You'll notice that he was a badass before then.
>he's literally the only OT main character Disney hasn't managed to ruin
lmao just wait until his series user
this
This is canon BTW
Im excited for the next 3 episodes but season 7
so far has been a bit disappointing. Compared to the last 4 seasons, it feels Disneyfied and actually like a kids show. Too many of the disney jokes, the "please clap its your favorite hero", and the pussy explosions and punching instead of shooting and stabbing.
more?
we didn't get the utapau arc so yeah, they're animating what they want and how they want it to be
itt: reddit levels of cringe
>tfw no mando GF
you've got the gay
we need more evil-looking women
yes
>Tfw no famous coke whore of a coworker to suck your dick for fun
You'll never bang young Carrie Fisher at a convention in return for a bump of yayo
she isn't
It's Disney Wars, what did you expect?
Is the invasion of mandalore by republic forces even legal, isn't mandalore meant to be neutral system?
I will make it legal
that is addressed in the episode
The politics of the show were always stupid
>Dooku sells people to slavery
>Padme still wants to negotiate with him and stop the productions of clones
>it's okay to send Ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Anakin to train terrorist cells on Onderon
>it's not okay to go after Maul the first time he showed up cause he's not an officially licensed Sith™ anymore
yes and that's why obi-wan didn't want to go to mandalore
the jedi council being up their own ass on things has been around since ep 1
padme trying to negotiate with dooku after ep 2 is retarded though
what's wrong with dooku selling people to slavery?
wasn't slavery legal in the republic?
>the jedi council being up their own ass on things has been around since ep 1
Palpatine vetoed going after Maul. We know why, but his reasoning given in the episode was shit. The show really does a piss poor job with him. Like he's contsntly at odds with the Council and everybody he might as well twirl a mustache and laugh maniacally.
BASED SHEEV
not really, they talked about how is would be breaking treaties, but they gave no reasoning as to why they are allowed to invade mandalore.
it was but not anymore
there was a whole episode about this, very funny too
it was fun to see anakin seducing the queen of that slave planet lol
The writers trying to tell us the conflict of the Clone Wars is some kind of failure to communicate muh shades of grey, but every time they show Dooku he's doing some evil shit for the sake of being evil. And then in the next episode Padme is all muh diplomacy guyz
correct me if i'm wrong but from just watching episode 2 and 3, after she became a senator, padme always tried to end the conflict without the need of an army
ahsokas outfit in that episode was so....
I thought she survived grievous
Tge person leading the mandalorian forces on the republic side would be the ruler of mandalore if they won making it retroactively legal.
yeah, that outfit was really hot
>since there's a lot unanswered questions from the original trilogy
Said no one ever.
cope
so what? Why do star wars fans always have to prove how 'mature' they are? That's what edgy 14yo do, all TCW conversations always boil down to how many people died on screen and how as if that metters at all
Star Wars was always for kids, star wars is also very good
Rebels is no masterpiece but it's the best thing disney has done with the licence in terms of visual media, I have not read the novels but the comics and movies are fucking dogshit
why are you here then?
you crearly don't like the franchise
I was obviously referring to movies and comics made under the disney label, not the franchise as a whole, you must be fucking braindead because I called star wars 'very good' in the same post
That's before Disney bought it.
sorry i'm retarded...
Like Cortes' conquest of Mexico against the direct orders of his superiors.
she's essentially a Jedi knight, after Offee was revealed as the temple bomber the council said "this was your trial, we're making you a Jedi knight"
youtu.be
>this post was moved to Yas Forums
are you serious
are tv's mods retarded?
In Episode II yes, but after Dooku sends her off to the colosseum to be eaten by a rat-tiger, even she has to see it's pointless.
In Episode III she's more about Palpatine's "emergency" powers and only after Dooku is dead does she talk about continuing with ending hostilities.
No problem with diplomacy, but with everything we see in the show, it's full autism on her behalf to still insist on talking it out. And wen she teams-up with Satine it's like Voltron of muh peaceful solutions retardness
It's the writers fault for not portraying this allegedly complex war as complex. The Separatists are evil, outside of Lux Bonteri's mom.
Padme's idea that if they stop producing clones the CIS will just lay don their arms and go home for dinner when mom calls them is delusional.
Don't worry friends, I got it covered.
You can make shitty excuse for shit like that and they are relatively small, but the republic invading a neutral system with out any sort of approval from the senate or higher ups just seems pretty unbelievable and contradicts how the politics work under the republic and previous episodes if I remember correctly.
Star Wars was always for childeren and you're a fool if you think otherwise
She redirects the blaster bolts back to the guys shooting her once she lands at the dock. Those guys fucking die.
Yet, they leave High Republic bitchfests all the time.
>everyone forgetting Yoda personally told Anakin and Obi Wan that Ashoka has the potential to be one of the most powerful Jedi and already has great potential in her introduction
The Siege of Mandalore is showing us the result of years of hardened training and near constant participation in an endless war. Over 7 seasons it is not out of the question to consider her one of the strongest jedi in the franchise, or if it will appease you little shits, one of the better light saber duelists
>Dave, pls.
Oh he's not fucking done yet, he's got his main man Jon Favreau bringing her into the Mandalorian next
>yfw quantum force magic mumbo jumbo shows that all three deaths are canon
>even the non-canoned Force Unleashed one
>Yas Forums mods in charge of not being retarded
Is that Sabine's Mom....or aunt?
