No action or anime.

Not as much variety, no big series like Pokemon or Power Rangers.

They did have Mighty Ducks and Gargoyles, but it was the weaker Goliath Chronicles.

it wasn't on weekdays.

The closest to a hit series OSM had was Recess, which Disney canceled at the height of its popularity, despite ABC execs asking them for more, simply because it hit their archaic 65 episode limit.

All the block ultimately is in Disney's eyes was a transitional period between The Disney Afternoon and the Disney Channel cartoons.

Technically it was.

The Disney Afternoon was dead when OSM came out. Unless the local affiliate ran the shows on their own dime, there was nothing.

For a while, OSM tried to replace TDA with "One Too" which ran reruns of what the main block didn't want anymore, but it tanked after a couple of years.

Usually at like 6am.

It had some original stuff like Tarzan and Digimon Frontier

>It had some original stuff like Tarzan and Digimon Frontier
Pretty sure that only came after One Too ended and it was all back to affiliate control.

Nope.

Lilo & Stitch was produced with One Too in mind but the block ended during it's production, which is why the show has so many episodes.

because more people remember jetix more

Did they have silly sketches in between the episodes, or was it just a single "One Too" bumper and nothing else? If the latter, it's not One Too, but just affiliate scheduling.

Rising Sun had both and it barely lasted. Shame too, I liked that block.

It's sad how Disney never really cared about Jetix and only half-assed supporting it over it's life.

A bit too kid friendly.

that's most cartoon blocks which I understand why networks dont do it anymore

Kids were swearing at each other in 4th grade. Who's the demographic for this programming block, 5 year olds?

Jetix only existed because the Dutch company that owned 26% of Fox Kids Europe pressured Disney into continuing their brands. Disney never cared.

Man, Toonami was great. Had a great mix of east and west cartoons. Then an incel was put in charge and killed anime on cartoon network.

>Usually at like 6am.
Where the fuck do you live?

I don't remember 1 Too ever having sketches.

They had random bits like "Salem Answers The Door", based on the Sabrina cartoon they were running.

Because FUCK One Saturday Morning. I was 10 and I could still tell that a block of nothing but Disney swill would be boring as shit.

The internet.

i dunno, i never watched it, Fox and kids WB had other better shows that i watched instead. I didnt want knock off rugrats aesthetics of Recess and girly teen drama cartoons like Sabrina and Doug, i did like Doug on nick but hated the Disney changes. I saw Alladin and Hercules later on Disneys own personal Channel.

I wanted action and cute anime girls because i was 11-15yo and apparently i still fucking do.

>reminder that this was cancelled due to 9/11

Everyone figured there wasn't going to be a second Saturday morning. What's up with that name?

Fox Kids started when Saturday Mornibg was still a big thing and was pretty muh the last vestige of it when it was said and done. Kids WB had some really big shows and cross promotion with the really successful Toonami.

So that made those more memorable in their own right but I think what hurt One Saturday Morning most was that they had a mixture of shows of uneven quality that were mostly of the same type.

Doug, Pepper Ann, the Weekenders, Recess, and Lloyd (DOUG'S IN SPAAAAACE) were all too similar in the basic concept of tween-slice-of-life even if the execution and quality were all different.

>Mornibg

I'm not OP but we all hate faggots like you that go out of their way to correct something as obvious as a basic typo and pointing it out just to give yourself a undeserved ego boost of superiority over a basic typo where the "b" is right by the "n". If you're so smart you should of been able to figure that out. So shut the fuck up.
