It's a cool ugly style, like it would have been less picked on and the inconstant animation would have fit better with it.

Maybe I'd get accustomed to it, but I wasn't big on the style (mostly the faces), and the character designs as they were.
I like the shows style as is, though it did have to grow into it after a dozen or so episodes. I just don't like how saturated the same type of style is among other cartoons nowadays.

Tough choice. The original, more-detailed style was definitely more unique. What we ended up with(softer/brighter colors and designs) was peak comfy around S1 though and respectable in its own right

I would've respected the show if the animation team weren't grossly incompotent. The artstyle means nothing if the over abundance of off-model errors persisted.
