I can't help but feel having someone telling bojak there isn't another side is both cringey as fuck. Haven't seen the scene itself but it feels so counterintuitive having a dead character giving out information that would have hit a lot harder if he was alone or something. Makes it seem like he's being told it by something, which completely goes against the entire point.

That’s what you get with athiest writers

Bojack was an athiest. What he saw is what his mind presented to him. Usually people see what they believe before they die so it makes sense Bojack would just see a void.

The moments of silence and Sandy's tone gives me big spooks.

Remember that comic Jack?

It was creepier when they just fell through the doorway, the ink was a little meh

Butterfly from spongebob
death scenes invoving melting
non-death scenes involving melting
eye stuff

This

i mean... I get it, he's drowning so the more he gets into his death fantasy, the more liquid being thematic for his coming end makes sense

>Haven't seen the scene itself
Then don't comment on it, the entire episode is a dream that Bojack has and it's his own interpretation of death.

Ok actually that does make it better

This scared the shit out of me when I was kid.

There is another side, Herb. And based on your alternative lifestyle choices, I can guess where you went.
Send my regards to Michel Foucault

>not being christian
Grow up.

Herb be like Guess I was wrong :/

It's Bojack's personal existential dread you retards, not a message from beyond.

What's with those "pretending to be christian" baits.

>Pretending
I will pray for you

>episode scared me as a kid
>watched it recently as an adult
>still scary but in a different way, just due to the isolation aspect
>Coronavirus pandemic only making it worse
I want off this ride.

Real nightmare shit when I was a kid. Had nightmares for days after seeing this scene.

Religion is for people that can't cope with how shitty reality is. Speaking from personal experience its a real pain in the ass talking about existential issues and having religious people pop in with their coping mechanism like its relevant at all.

damn that is some good ass animation and shitty voice acting

>BANANA PAJAMA BANANA PAJAMA
>Hahahaha Pajamas do scare me so.

It has its flaws, but Little Nemo: Adventures in Slumberland is kino nonetheless.

They literally tell you "this is just what your brain is going through what it thinks it needs to go through" This is just a mix of the drugs he took and his brain not getting enough oxygen.

But user, it's not a ghost id Bojack's mind itself telling him that there nothing on the other side if he wants to fix things up this is the only place he can do it

Not sure if this would count. Still very satisfying. m.youtube.com/watch?v=SgCcMv4xnwA&t=0h0m3s

>How was your day?
>Good.
>Yeah?
>Yeah. (fades away) My day was good.
>B-B-B-B-BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

This hits way too close home

The AC unit in Brave Little Toaster that basically overheats itself to death.
