He got the good ending

It was regressive and cowardly.
DID HE?
It's a feel good ending that doesn't make sense when you think about it for a minute
If the pasts they all visited were from different timelines, how was there an aged up Capt, in the current timeline, when he should have jumped into a different timelines past?
Aged Cap was always in the timeline is what defenders will say. Which technically is plausible but obviously wasn't planned.
""""""""good"""""" ending
Spotted the fujo.
It was the good ending for Peggy. Pretty mediocre ending for Cap IMO.
It made no sense.
And the rest of the world got the bad ending because of it.
I don't get why old man Cap didn't want to tell Falcon about Peggy. Like, the writers being lazy I get but in-universe it doesn't make sense.
I had the perception that Captain America actually went to another timeline, and when he was satisfied, he used the device that he kept with him to go back to the original timeline.
It's not like Bucky would've liked a do over at life
:')
Any of you fucks saying that being able to fuck Haley Atwell constantly isn't a good ending is a liar.
Making changes would permanently diverge the timelines, undoing the whole idea of the plot.
I like how the MCU hated the Steve and Sharon pairing so much they just pretend it never happened
>After being soaked in the modern era, Captain America takes the most selfish path in the end
Pottery.
I feel it was well earned.
>Took part in super solder program
>Served in active duty during the war, stops HYDRA
>Frozen for decades, all his friends are dead, dying or brainwashed
>Spends the next decade and more leading the Avengers, fighting HYDRA plots, alien invasions, evil gods and more
>helps save the literal universe but has to see one of his best friends die doing the deed
That last bit hit me kinda harder than I thought, I never considered Cap never could have beaten Thanos in the movie, per Strange.
Wasn't his time thingy only able to make like one jump to the past and one jump back. He used up his last jump to go bak to 1945 instead of the present.
Yep. He did something for himself, made a better world than where he came from, and returned to let Bucky and Sam know he had faith they could continue on without him. And in case anything went wrong, they could still use the device to retrieve the "younger" frozen Steve that he had cucked by making a divergent timeline.
That was before they undid the snap when they were out of Pym particles. After they fixed the snap, old man Pym was back, and still had his formula to make more.
>fucks with the timelines frivolously
>doing something for himself
t Modern Americans everyone. As long as you get what you want, it doesn't matter what it costs.
It's not like he's changing the past. He's making a new future.
This user peaks wise words.
it was a one off idea that got scrapped, just like Black Widow and Banner
I'm absolutely fine with this ending. It was either that or kill him off. If it was anything else, fans would constantly ask "Is Steve coming back?"
And for people who say Cap must always be there to fight, that doesn't help the world in the long run. Having everyone depending on Cap for all their problems until he suddenly is killed in combat is a really foolish way for the world to exist. Cap did his time and got his happy ending. Fuck the selfish cunts who want one man to save them all.
I'd prefer them killing him off, personally.
I heard rumblings they're going to have Bucky shove his tongue down her throat next. Which I'd look forward to as Emily Vancamp is a hottie and I want to see her in that white suit eventually.
I've always liked the Natasha/Bucky pairing in the comics. They were cute together.
I'd rather see Bucky hook up with Yelena. If only because there wasn't a romance between Bucky and Nat.
