I find the main cast pretty boring. They are all too nice for their own good. Eda might be a scammer and King a bit of a brat, but they do the right thing most of the time. Eda spent an entire episode torturing herself with school activities for the sake of Luz and King is a bitch behind all the shit he talks. Shows like GF and Ducktales at least have some shifty characters on their main cast to keep things interesting

I do remember some people pointing out how they expected Eda to be more of a cunt, a la Rick from RIck and Morty, which would have been better honestly as I said here they should have given King a more interesting personality, instead, he's just Bill from GF but less of an a$$hole. But my biggest issue is the story or lack thereof, its just Luz fucking around in this magical whimsy cliche work. I compare it to Amphibia. Animation and style-wise Owl House is better but Story and Design-wise Amphibia is better. More original monsters etc, and an actual mother fucking story. So Frog show wins, go watch that instead. And I can assure you Matt Braly did (not) pay me to type this
