So...I liked the transition of Hal as Parallax into Hal as the Spectre and agree that yellow bug was a cheap way to absolve Hal of his crimes (even though I like most of Johns' GL run so I give that a pass) but Hal deciding to suddenly go after the Guardians always felt rushed to me. They literally just let him walk into the Central Power Battery because he says "I can't stop this...and neither can you". So it was shitty at the beginning and end of this long-arc as you could call it, with only a slightly interesting middle.
That irrelevant because we are dealing with fiction.
