What will this mean for cartoons?

The writers would need a good grasp of cartoon comedy.

John K warned us about writers in cartoons

John K regularly got cucked by his own dad.

He’s still right about cartoons.

John K also can't fucking make a good show since R&S- where he actually had to, y'know, properly write around limitations instead of just putting fucking diarrhea on the screen, which he resented every minute of so he's a dumbass who needs to shut the fuck up and stop having little shits like you parrot him.

>writers with bo appreciation for the medium and how it differs from other media writing for it.
It's done wonders for comics.

>the bachelor but its cartoons

>cartoon brew
>linking directly
Mcfucking kys

Looks like we're gonna have more SJW's writing cartoons

SO MUCH LORE

Fuck off, you sjw link to io9 and the marysue all the time

>hiring failed millenial tv writers
Because that worked for WWE

Honestly, can't be any worse than the current slate of people we have writing for cartoons who are neither good writers or even good artists.

Yeah look how good having no writers came out for SU

More like so many epic political/celebrity jokes

Why does this ''inflame tension'' ? animation is great

>NOOOOOO YOU CANT MAKE NOTES AND DOODLES ON OFFICE PAPER THEY'RE SACRED DOCUMENTS

is this the "learn to code" moment

>He literally commented on the doodles because he can't read and understand just how bland this writing is

I'm sorry you think, "Steven jokes that she should be careful around so much cheese!" is a good line.

Animation isnt real tv or movies.

Because for decades, the writing guild has not acknowledged animation writers as "writers", so they got no union benefits. In fact, writers for animation had to start their own guild just to get anywhere. But now that there are no live-action jobs, WGA is telling live-action writers (Who probably don't even know the process of how an animated cartoon is made) to go work in animation.

These live-action writers with no animation production experience will continue to get WGA benefits, create competition for animation writers, and the animation writers STILL are not qualified to join the WGA even though they now literally have the same job as the live-action writers.

It's basically a big fuck you to people who work in animation and aren't treating it like anything more than, "Ah shit, you need a paycheck during the pandemic? Go work in animation for the time being. Nah, nah, it's fine if you don't know the animation pipeline (Which, yes, is VERY different from a live-action show pipeline) You can come back to live-action when it's over, it's just dumb cartoons, who cares. You just need to pay your rent, right?"

I'm an aspiring animation writer and honestly I feel like I need to work in live-action before I can do animation; it's basically impossible to get a job fucking anywhere in any of that shit. How can these WGA fags switch over to it like it's a chore?

It's easy to gripe about baseline bullshit when you're not invested in animation at all, you know

Do you think Star Vs, Steven Universe, Owl House, Victor & Valentino, Apple & Onion, OK KO, Ducktales, and Summer Camp Island are well-written adventure/comedies?

Those shows aren't affected because CN and Disney have basically an unspoken rule that you aren't allowed to have a show unless it's board driven, which is basically an excuse for calarts fags to keep their nepotistic cliques in rather than actual writers.

The time has come
down with live action
animated revolution now

Probably some geek Simpsons writer's kid works for the WGA.

Oh boy, union infighting!

who gives a shit

>who gives a shit
These guys

o no, baby is mad and angry, and baby think poopy in diaper is arguments again.

how does it feel to be looked down on as an animator?
