nah you're just choosing not to see its blatant propaganda because its hard for you to face the reality that this is the fourth time in as many mediums the exact story has been told, the only difference is the last three times the stories were written with loving reverence to the franchise as a whole and spiderverse was just made to revier bendis
meh spiderverse just has pretty set dressings but on the whole its just a soulless corporate product that sony FINALLY was able to make palatable, think about it it has the same basic structure as spider-man 3 and the amazing movies, to many characters to little plot and to heavy an emphasis with setting up as many future movies as they can think of, it's just this time they finally got something right it seems
